My last Maytag dryer had a light inside which made it very helpful seeing inside the dryer and finding things. This for some reason doesn't. I have had it for a little over a month, so far great, just missing the light.

The design is top tier and it’s a quiet machine. It also features some voodoo technology that allows it to sense the weight of the items and adjust the time accordingly.

It is a good machine. There is a delay start feature that you have to hold down the start button before it will begin and I find that somewhat tedious. The sheer power of this machine actively sucks the lint out of all of your clothes. Never have I ever had to actually clean the filter after each use, but with this machine you must. It accumulates so much into over one cycle it is impressive. It is significantly less powerful on a lower heat setting also, compared to other machines I’ve had, perhaps that is just a me issue that I need to work with and understand better. Overall, a solid machine. Many quirks to learn about though.

Dryer does not handle bulky items like blankets, quilt comforters, comforters. Takes multiple attempts to dry and end up hanging to air dry. Does not matter how you change what is in the load, it does not handle bulky items (even if on bulky cycle) Link trap is poor design. Link gets trapped and difficult to clean out the “slot” the screen goes into

This dryer is very efficient. I like that it senses the dryness of the load and will turn off when dry rather than continue to run. Lots of options available and I like the extra power boost it offers. But like the washer, I’m not a fan of having to hold the start button to the count of 3 before it turns on. It literally counts down 3-2-1 and the starts. But other than that. I love it.

So convenient and easy to use. Love love the multiple features and how quiet it is.
