Maytag isn’t what it used to be

Thankfully I bought the extended warranty and they are coming to diagnose today. Maytag isn’t what it used to be. Moisture often gets inside the control panel when drying. Not a great product.

I am happy with it except I wish I would have spent the additional $ 100.00 and got the next model up. I think the steam feature and few extra features would have been worth the money. My only complaint is that it is a bit load. You would think that with today's technology it could be ultra quite.

Being only 5'4" tall, I need a step stool to see the cycle details. Since women are probably the primary users, having a tilt-down feature - or at least a vertical display would be optimal. The end of cycle time is also low in volume (at max setting) that I can't hear it unless I am in the room. This unit is not WiFi enabled. It dries well which was the primary reason for purchase.
