Many phone calls later, being put on hold, finally got it right. Has to reschedule another appointment. Stupid mistake that I had to pay for. However, the delivery guys did a great job both times.

It gets stuck on cycles and won’t change drying time. Maytag customer service was kind, but the issue is not yet resolved so at this point I would not recommend this dryer to anyone. I know customer service is just doing their job and have no control over the quality of Maytag appliances, but they want me to pay for an extended service plan so any repairs are free. I’m not interested in paying for a service plan for a dryer that, at this price, should work for more than a few days without needing service.

It simply will not dry anything. Whether it’s a couple of hand towel, a set of sheets or a quilt. It literally takes hours to dry completely with no damp spots. I’m perplexed because the dryer is piping hot when I open it but the heat is not making it to the entirety of items in there. I really like the washer but I will have trouble living with a dryer that takes hours to dry a sheet.

Dryer is terrible.

You can't adjust the cycles either to anything that works. HATE IT!

A little disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This dryer and the matching washer replaced an 18 yr old Maytag Neptune set that never had a repair. The old set had lights in the washer and dryer, and the cycle signal was audible. I ruined the washer when a down pillow disintegrated in it and feathers were throughout the machine. The new dryer is great looking and works well. I was disappointed that there is no light inside and the cycle signal is so soft that I can barely hear it when standing in front of the dryer. The steam refresh cycle does not work well with only one garment. Water leaks onto the floor. Apparently it works well with several garments in the dryer.
