First, there's no light so bring your flashlight to make sure you got everything out the first time. Then when drying anything large, meaning comforter, king sheets, etc., be prepared to stand there and untangle the large tightly wadded ball that forms every 5 to 10 minutes so the comforter/sheets dry. If you don't untangle the large wadded ball, your dryer senses that the outer ball is dry and turns itself off. I've had this dryer for 2 months now and happens every time I wash my bedding. We chose to stack our washer/dryer. DO NOT TOUCH the lower middle side panel of the dryer, YOU COULD BURN YOUR HAND. Did Maytag/Whirlpool forget to insulate the sides? I have never been so disappointed in an appliance but what can you do once you buy it. You are stuck.

The touch panel portion of the dryer was for a lower end unit. So the dryer had steam as a feature and the model number was correct, but the touch panel was missing the steam option along with a couple others so it would not work. Trying to convince Best Buy was difficult, but with many pictures and going in twice they finally exchanged it and the second one was correct and is working fine. The matching washer just quit spinning at 90ish days old. No impressed with Maytag at this point and if I could return them and get something else I would. I do not recommend these to anyone based on my experience so far. I specifically researched for reliable washer and dryers, I should have went to another brand it appears. Hope others have better success than I have had.

Poor quality for price and brand

Doesn’t dry clothes completely. Will be returning and getting a different brand. Also bought the washer timer on control panel keeps blinking after a few minutes of cycle starting.
