The worst appliance I ever deal with. With the 4th defected machine delivered on 10/22/22. I had to go to the same sore to get a full refund from Best Buy and buy a LG Gas Dryer as an replacement. I ordered this Maytag Gas dryer with Profession LP conversion Installation service on 9/9/2022 from Best Buy Mansfield, MA store. 1st delivery and installation was scheduled on 9/19/22. The plumber/installation guy found a major part to start the machine broken while trying to get the LP conversion kit into the machine on my drive way. So, the 1st dryer was returned to Best Buy by the plumber. I had to call Best Buy on the second day, 9/20/22, to schedule a 2nd delivery and installation. The 2nd dryer was delivered and installed on 9/29/22. This time the machine get installed into my laundry room after the plumber spent almost an hour to attach the LP conversion kit into the machine. The machine was able to be turned on and get heat when the plumber started the machine. So, we kept the machine. We used the machine for a few loads in 1 week. Problem gradually showed up within the 1st week. First sign is that only the left side cycles on the machine will get the machine heating up. All the gentle cycles on the right side of the dial won't start the flame to produce heat. On the 7th day, we did another load for drying. This time the machine started to produce loud noise while it is on. So, we had to call Best Buy again and because it is within 15 days of delivery, so we got a 3rd replacement which is scheduled to be delivered/installed on 10/15/22. The 3rd delivery scheduled on 10/15/22 failed again. The plumber/delivery team open the box to get the dryer ready after they completed their jobs at the other customer's location before coming to my house. So, I got a call from Best Buy notifying me it is defective and can't be delivered to our house. So, I got the 4th delivery /installation scheduled on 10/22/22. On 10/22/22, the plumber spent about 1/2 hour to attach LP conversion kit into the machine and installed the 4th machine into my laundry room. This machine is a failure again. Won't start heating at all when the plumber tried different heating cycle. Such a bad products. Fail once is possible. But all 4 dryers are having defect is ridiculous. Maytag should stop selling this machine. I had to go into the Best Buy Mansfield, MA store to get a full refund and order a LG gas dryer on 10/22 which is scheduled to be delivered/installed on 10/26/22.

The clothes is cold and wet. I called warranty to get it repaired and I need to wait two weeks for service.

Takes a long time to dry.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This review is supposed to be about the dryer itself, but the very fact that the product is listed as a gas dryer and not an electric dryer (which is what we now have) is indicative of the many snafus that took place while placing this order. As for the dryer itself, it is fine but the drying sensor turns off the dryer before clothes are completely dry. Fortunately, there is an option to give it extra time at the beginning of the cycle.

I ended getting without steamer version, due to budget, i wish i could have spend on the steamer version.

Repaired once and now sensor not working

Dryer had the electric panel replaced. So did the matching washer. Technician said it is a known problem. But Now we will need a second repair for it not drying clothes. It’s so frustrating when these expensive large appliances need repairs within first year.
