We have had this dryer for 2 years now. It was a saving grace that we had the Best Buy service plan. We were constantly having issues with clothes getting dry until one day it stopped blowing hot air altogether. Our wonderful Geek Squad repairman was awesome and very helpful and showed us that the heating element had broken. It took a week to get it repaired but it finally was. So, over all, we are not that impressed with the dryer since the element broke within 2 years. I think Maytag quality has decreased. We had one prior to this one that was 25 years old and never had a problem until it finally quit on us. This is why we stuck with Maytag. It could be that ours just was a lemon, but who knows. I hope you find this helpful in your purchase. If you do, I would HIGHLY recommend getting the Geek Squad service plan.

Drys slower than usual, the hold to start delay is annoying, can’t ever set the setting correctly it’s difficult to maintain proper dry

We only buy Maytag, we’ve been married 43 years and have only used Maytag with no issues. Why have we repeatedly bought Maytag? We’ve had zeroissues

The control panel is kaput. Two whole years, and its 400 $ for a new panel, or buy a new one. My maytag washer control panel (and valve assembly) died at 6 years old. So much for the maytag brand. The tech who replaced both panels said buy the extended warranties....nothing new lasts more than 3 years anymore. He fixes appliances all day long that are 2 years old.

Bought the Maytag washer/dryer as a pair and the dryer works perfectly. It even will dry a medium sized load (clothes and such) in under 25 minutes on low heat. Definitely has been a nice upgrade!

I love this large dryer. The only thing I would change is the way the door opens on this dryer. I wish Maytag had the door opening left to right or vice versa

My last machine was 18 years old and I was worried to go to a computerised model but after learning how to properly program the wadher I couldn't be more pleased.

This dryer was delivered to me on 09/07/2020, two weeks went by and all was good. Then when I was drying a load of clothes it started making a weird rubbing sound and later started knocking. Best Buy wanted me to use warranty. Had to get the warranty people out to look at it. Now waiting on the part to hopefully fix it. I researched and was in love but now I’m very upset that my not even a month old dryer is defected.

Excellent dryer! Bought to replace a VERY expensive BOSCH unit which was not anything to talk about. Lessened drying time. Quality seems goo so far and have no problems. Price on the high side.

Love this dryer! With the app it lets me know when my clothes are done drying and the wrinkle prevent feature is a game changer for those easily wrinkled fishing shirts!

This dryer is great preventing wrinkles on our nice garments. It dries heavy towles, washcloths and cottons with ease. I am pleased and hope this Maytag is dependable and reliable for years to come.
