Why the poor handling? It's a dryer - period. I don't get the need for the "extra power" button. Superflulous in my opinion. Disappointed in Maytag washer and dryer.

If the load is less than full, it stops well before things are dry. Every item is very damp when it does this. I called and had a repair man come out and he tested it. There isn't anything "wrong" with it, it apparently is caused by the fact that the sensor is in the front of the machine and if the clothes aren't rubbing against it, the machine thinks they are dry and stops. I will be doing many loads on time dry.
