Very Poor Store Staff

We asked that the dryer be installed with a side vent. The salesperson asked his manager if geek squad could install it that way & he said yes. We were told that we were purchasing the correct vent kit. Since we are Total Tech members the installation was included with the membership. The dryer showed up today without a technician with the knowledge to do a side vent intallation & the incorrect vent kit. The tech was kind enough to try to get the correct kit from the store, but BestBuy does NOT sell one. He told us to order it from Amazon and they would come back and install it for free. Free installation was already included and it is absurd that BestBuy would charge me extra for their incompetence. So, nice installation people, but the store staff gets an F. I have been on the phone trying to get the issue resolved for over 29 minutes& still on hold.

Unhappy With My New Maytag Purchases

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not happy with my Maytag purchases, a washer MD# MVW7232HW 0 and this dryer, MD# MED6230HW 0, $1623.14 total. My issue with the washer, dark colors coming out with light colored "spots" and stains, it looks like soap is getting trapped in the clothes. Changing cycles, fill levels, using "Extra Rinse" and even limiting the soap all seem to have no effect, the stains appear. My only resolve is putting the clothes through another wash cycle without detergent, then the stains are gone. About a month ago, the end of cycle notification sound being emitted from the dryer quit working. A technician came out to troubleshoot it and said it needs a new main circuit board. They called yesterday to schedule an appointment so it can be replaced, I just called and cancelled it. So I guess it's time to call Best Buy and get this resolved.

Have to place on timed dry for about 15min more. Towels are usually dry, but not always.

Has BUGS/KINKS

The dryer door sensor keeps saying the door is open when it is quite obviously closed with nothing interfering with the door, because of this the dryer wont start. Getting someone to help troubleshoot or come fix it has been an issue as well. Brand new set and cant do laundry.

Only thing i want to say is the dryer feet rip up linoleum if your movers dont install it right and the feet of dryer bend easily! Be careful of that! Dries quickly, large, quiet, wrinkle prevent!

Shipping and Installation problems

And the installers connected the water lines wrong hot to cold and torqued it on so tight we had to buy a special wrench to get the original connection off and change it around after they left.

Non-working washing machine
