Doesn't dry unless on timed dryer

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We love our new dryer! Our old dryer was 43 years old and look forward to this dryer lasting a long time. It is simple to operate; we love the door that folds down which we use to fold clothes as we take them out of the dryer. It dries clothes faster than the old dryer and the lint filter inside is easy to clean out. I would give a five star but was surprised by a $30 charge for the power cord; this was never explained to use before the delivery. It seems like an extra way to make money as all electrical items come with a cord.

Maytag junk

MEDB835DW / Dryer MVWB835DW3/ Washer Commercial Technology with 10 year warranty !! Both are garbage. Washer broke in 2020, 2 years old. Whirlpool/Maytag replaced the transmission. It still wont run a full load like a comforter. It frequently adjusts the water level when more than 1/2 full. Sometimes it empties & refills 3 times. So much for HE/High Efficiency. Dryer started after a year requiring us to run for 2 hours to completely dry clothes. So much for HE. This week the doorcatch broke, closing it with duct tape. Whirlpool says 10yr warranty only covers the drum & motor. Control panel working intermittently. Warranty wont cover anything, $150 to fix door, heating element is extra so is control panel. A 3 year old machine, so much for Commercial Technology.

Too many errors codes

The blower wheel broke and I called for service. Repairman has to break it loose so now has to replace the motor. Would never recommend purchasing this brand; I should have stayed with LG.

Unfortunately we had high hopes, but this equipment just does not perform. Take two cycles to dry a load of towels. Cannot wash a blanket without out multiple error codes and resets. I had LG products before this and had none of these issues. Thanks

Do not buy. Garbage

Dryer is rattling, humming, and squealing. Pretty poor considering its a Maytag. No good brand names left. First dryer was 30 years old never had an issue.

Buyer beware
