It has a hamper style door with lint collection in the door (not on top of the unit) and a light. I love the fact that it chimes when the drying is complete. Also, no guesswork with drying time; it turns off when clothes are dry. Lastly, the quality is great. Love it!!

Wish they had kept the flat top rather than slant. If you do not want the dryer light to stay on while using the dryer you always need to select off with each load though I can see that having the light on while running would be a plus to one who is hard of hearing.
