I reset the dryer for more time and after a short time, it tells me they are dry and they are not. These items I speak of are bulky or pillows so I would imagine it difficult to tell.

Perhaps I really didn't need all the features of this dryer because it was much simpler to modify drying cycles on my older (analog-controlled) Maytag.
