I deeply regret purchasing this Maytag dryer from Best Buy. The first one arrived visibly damaged from the exterior, and the WiFi was inoperable. Best Buy initiated a return/exchange. The second unit arrived and is incredibly LOUD, louder than my previous 10 year old Whirlpool dryer. It makes a loud knocking sound and visibly rattles the dryer vent when turned on. It’s almost as if the rollers aren’t set on the drum properly. Hard to say if this is another damaged unit, or just improperly put together and installed by Best Buy’s third party delivery company, which has the absolute WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m not a professional appliance person, but I know enough to know that there should not be exposed wires coming from the power cord. When they turned it on after plugging it in, they just looked at me and said “Wow. Maybe it’s just a loud one,” shrugged and walked out of my house. They also stated that this was the first Maytag dryer they’d ever done. I immediately called the Best Buy customer service, and sat on hold for 30 minutes, only for the call to drop. Save yourself the days of headache and purchase a different brand elsewhere.

We have owned this dryer for 15 months now. Family of three. Its broken and won't dry alarms and won't even allow access to fault codes. Needs a new control panel $360 from maytag. Buyer beware this model doesn't last. We also bought the matching washer it isn't any better.

I bought this dryer a month ago and as a new dryer and it came with this huge sticker that I can’t remove , I think Best Buy Gabe me a display one and they won’t change it because is pass 15 days !! Also the door seal belt fall off and they told me I have to call the manufacturer because i o le have 15 days with them ! That’s not right I bought a very expensive dryer!

We are very pleased with our new Maytag dryer. It dries quickly and thoroughly in half the time our old one did. The variable settings are great, so you can easily accommodate the type of material you are drying. I love the steam feature for refreshing and removing wrinkles.

Washer had a Grey circle ring inside afre first use. Not particularly happy with the product and ordered a return and exchange.

Love this dryer! Quiet, easy to use and dries efficiently. Easily dries queen and king sized duvets and quilts. I like the fold down door. I was skeptical at first of the steam option, but it is a great way to refresh clothes and remove wrinkles. My teenage girls love this option! I have read reviews about wet spots on clothes after using the steam option. I have not experienced this. Our washer and dryer are in daily use. I needed to replace my dryer quickly and wanted to match my Maytag washer. BestBuy offered the quickest delivery and at a great price! Very happy with my purchase!

I got the 2 pc set. I like the dryer much better than the washer. Ease of use is a plus. When I purchased this, I was not looking for WiFi but when I found out it had it, I thought it was a bonus. Here is the kicker. The App is through Maytag and it is free for the first 6 months. After that, there is a monthly charge. Now I think that is a BS thing. I'd rather they didn't even offer it if it was not included. Also, to use the app with the dryer is really dumb. I don't know if it is just me but you still have to push buttons on your dryer to start the machine. And for some reason, the connection to the dryer keeps dropping. The other thing I don't really care for is the lint screen opening. This seems to be a industry wide thing though. My old Maytag had an opening that was like 2 inches or so wide. You could get tools in to clean it out. This one, it's going to be a chore or I'm prob going to have to hire someone so that adds to the price too. Other than that, all good.

Great dryer. I bought it with the washer and they are both honestly amazing. It senses how wet the items are and will complete the cycle ahead of time if they are dry. It will warn you to pull bulky items out, fluff them up then continue the cycle. It has so many options and catches so much lint that my clothes have never felt better. I would highly recommend for the price.

Huge capacity. Easy to use. I LOVE the hamper door. My socks and undies no longer fall on the floor and it is a nice shelf for folding items as they come out of the dryer. With steam it is more expensive, but I hate to iron. I got a price match so that brought the cost down.

Dryer is a great buy, the capacity is spacious and many features to help dry clothes quickly. Steam options are equally as great.
