Of course it doesn't come with the dryer vent nor the gas line, but the installation manuel does mention the hose for the steam function is included, mine was delivered without. So working on getting that, but as for the basic dryer it functions well. I'm pleased. Can't wait to try the wrinkle control option once I receive the hose required.

I LOVE my new Maytag washer and dryer!! It has just the features we need, with ample tub space, and fits well in our small space! Energy efficient and quiet! And 18-month no interest financing! What more could anyone ask for?!

We stayed with Maytag products. Dryer is bigger than we expected... not a bad thing though. Our new w/d did not disappoint. I love every feature and it works wonders!

a couple of years ago, I bought the washing machine, by then my dryer was working just fine.... I guess 2021 was the year to replace my old dryer and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Now we have a "team" for years to come., Thank you BestBuy

This is your basic dryer. It feels like something out of the 1980's, but it works very well. It's simple, and I hope that means it will last a long time. Unless you are looking for something to show off to your neighbors, this dryers will get your clothes dry.

I love this dryer it is huge inside and easy to use! Zero problems does the job. I've only had it for 2 months but I have a family of 4 with tons of laundry, so I use it daily. The size is fantadtic!

This is a decent dryer for the money, but it does seem to have a little bit of a hard time with larger/heavier loads. My previous dryer could handle two pairs of jeans and three towels in one dry cycle; this one, we have to run twice to get everything completely dry. But it's reliable and fairly quiet, which is nice.

After our nearly 24-year-old Hotpoint dryer finally went to dryer heaven, my wife said she didn't want anything fancy, just reliable. I was keen on Maytag, if only for tradition-sake. The reviews on Best Buy and HomeDepot were very favorable...closer to the elusive 5-star than anything else. It seems to dry things quicker, it's very quiet and performs very well. Not sure if it will last 20-plus years, but our fingers are crossed for something close.

My previous Maytag dryer lasted 21 years so I decided to get the same brand. Also wanted one made in USA. I always try to get the simplest kind of appliance, with actual knobs to turn, not a push button panel. Higher tech = more to malfunction. This the the most basic dryer I could find that fit my requirements. Other reviewers complained that the door seemed flimsy and maybe so, but forewarned, we make sure we close it slowly and firmly. At any rate, it is a mechanical latch so that can be repaired. This dryer accommodates a larger load than my previous Maytag without taking up any more space. We have used all the functions and are very happy with it. Compared to my old one that barely warmed the clothes, this one seems a modern miracle! I never buy a service plan as my experience with them is you never need them in the first five years and for the life of the product it is cheaper to just get it repaired. Most service agreements nowadays are third party and they do everything they can to avoid paying out. Ill update this review if Maytag does not come through for me.

This is a nice 7 cubic foot gas dryer. By today's standards it is basic plus a bit - several cycled (sensor/times), 4 heat types (none, low, med, high) and a signal. It will also do the wrinkle control to start and stop for several hours after a cycle. The door as people have complained feels a bit stiff and at the same time hollow but seems to be holding up. I like the top lint filter compared to door style but simply a preference. The unit is assembled in Michigan and has a 10 year drum (the motor) guarantee, which was important because I have had two dryers die from motor failure at 7 and 8 years respectively. We are on the high side of washed/dries with 5+ in the house and three kids. In terms of noise it is average plus a bit but nothing horrible - ours is in the basement.

It runs quietly and efficiently. The lint filter seems a little fragile although we have not experience any issues yet. Clothes dry evenly. Lots of different settings available. Good value.

My Maytag Dryer is absolutely worth waiting for. My old dryer was over 20 years, so how could I not be so very pleased with this Maytag Dryer. I love how fast my clothes dry and how so much less wrinkled the clothes are. It is a large capacity making it perfect for bedspreads and blankets. Love, love it.

This thing drys my clothes way better than any other dryer

Our last Maytag dryer lasted 18 years. This of course lead us to buy another one. This one is very quiet when running and does a good job drying clothes. The controls are very simple to use as well.

Hey, I'm old school. I don't need or want a fancy electronic display (that costs a fortune to replace). Good old fashioned dials with enough settings to satisfy your needs without making your head spin. This unit replaced one that was easily 25 years old (it only needed a new igniter, but something else would likely soon follow). The new one is basically the same design, although it seems to have greater capacity. Gets the job done. Hoping for 20+ years of use.

This dryer is a big capacity can use for blanket, bulky, quite running. Especially, wrinkle free help clothes very nice after finishing! I really like it and recommend to everyone!
