Was a little deeper than the old one, which is next to the back door, so it was a tight fit. It works though--so far, so good is all I can say. I would give 5 stars if there was more space for gas valve and duct at bottom of rear panel.

Has a light inside

This is a quality dryer and a good value. I never used the auto dry on my old machine so not missing it here. This dryer seems quieter than my old too. Very pleased with my purchase.

Simple, Basic Dryer

This was a replacement for an older Maytag that finally died after several repairs. I love the Maytag brand and this is close to what I had previous....not a fan of the all-digital type..too many things can go wrong!

The sensor on the cycles works fantastic and I appreciate the wrinkle toss it does if I don't get the clothes out right away. Very happy with this so far.
