This figure is Mcfarlanes absolute best Superman and possibly the best Reeves superman at this scale ever created (especially if price is considered). From a few feet away you’d swear you were looking at the man himself, shrunken down to 7” tall. I tend to judge these things more for their poseability, and wasnt the least bit let down by this figure. The wired cape is the perfect amount of fabric and its not annoying, bunching up, or in the way. I cant stand those huge capes that most of the batman figures have. His legs can actually move forward despite the diaper, because its a more pliable material than they usually use. Superman can crouch, leap, fly (his head tilts back) and anything else you can think of. For action figure photography its a dream come true. The figure also comes with a trading card, a flight stand, and every possible set of hands youd ever want - AND an extra head sculpt that to me looks like Reeves in Superman 3. That being said, I only wrote this up because the other reviews were about either packaging or the condition of the packaging, or how the figure looks inside the packaging. LOL I’m not sure how you can write a review for a product if you leave it in the box. Only collectors would do something so whacky. Take it out, play with it a little. Not everything has to be hermetically sealed. If its about the value, there are much better things to invest in. This is supposed to be a fun hobby. The motivation for profit really does ruin so many innocent things. Is it really fun to take up a bunch of space in your house with boxes and boxes of toys? I have a better idea, buy another one, and open it!

Amazing figure! happy to have a nice christopher reeve figure, Likeness is slightly off but all the accessories and features make up for it! If you’re on the fence about it, this is a great figure and if you’re considering it, buy it!

Very very good likeness to Christopher Reeve, but not perfect. The articulation and wired cape are awesome. Overall, a great figure.

The figure arrived well packaged and undamaged. However there are apparently two versions you can get the regular classic Christoper Reeve colors and a darker color version resembling more of Brandon Routh Superman returns suit. I wanted the regular version but got the platinum version with the darker colors and now it’s sold out (-_-).

I absolutely love this figure. Sculpt and paintwork are great. Been waiting for McFarlane to release a Christopher Reeves Superman figure.

It's a good fig but it just has a lot of leg and is taller than most McFarlane figures but it should not stop you from buying him if you are a Reeves fan

Awesome figure and likeness. This looks much better in hand too. Another great addition to the collection. Even managed to find the platinum in store.

First time buying a McFarlane Figure and I received the Platinum Edition. I was not aware this was a thing that can randomly happen. Although I do love Evil Superman I was really looking forward to the classic version. With it sold out everywhere, looks like I may never get what I actually wanted and paid for.

Love this figure, great detail, and a great nod to the man who was my Superman growing up. The chase/platinum (1 in 6 rare version) is drunk playboy Superman from Superman 3, with a lazer eye alternate head, pretty awesome also.

Bad packaging, arrived damaged. No bubble wrap in an oversized box. Rubber banded together, all bent and smashed up. I do not recommend having Best Buy ship this to you.

I jumped on the chance to purchase this figure as I grew up, watching the original Christopher Reeve Superman films. This figure does a great job of capturing the likeness of Christopher in all his costumed glory. If you’re a fan of the films, you really can’t pass this up.
