    Purchased the Active Guardian for my 88-year-old mother. Well-made product with good quality materials. Not too heavy, and simple to charge with included charging station. Device activation went smoothly, but can only be done on Monday through Friday (not weekends). Response from the emergency operator was immediate when mom leaned against the kitchen sink, accidentally pressing the call button. Found out that the monthly service plan is cheaper if product is purchased from Costco.

    got it for my mother in law, she's close but I can't check on her every day. I have my mind at ease now.

    I'm an employee at Best Buy and one of the merchants who selected the Active Guardian product for the assortment. One of the main reasons we selected the Active Guardian for our assortment is because we know emergencies can happen anywhere, regardless of whether you are at home or away. This product has both GPS and WiFi location technologies, so help can be sent to your exact location in the event of an emergency.
