Great game for those already familiar with the series and new players. The button controls are simple, graphics are completely revamped from ps1 version of the game. This was one of my favorite games growing up so this remastered version has stayed true to storyline, characters, the humor but also adds some new stuff to differentiate the ps4 version from ps1. The camera angles can be a little finicky at times but definitely easier to control than its predecessor. Very much improved. I'd recommend this for any one as it is entertaining and easy to play for all ages.

I never finished the original game as a kid, so having a polished remake to play as an adult is very much appreciated. So far, it's what I remember and is lots of fun. It's got a certain quirkiness to it, it's a tad bit macabre, and it's got the right amount of challenge. I love the fact that it's half the price of a regular AAA game and even $10 less than most remakes released recently. I'd definitely recomend it.

Just a fun, goofy game that tests problem-solving skills. It's not a GTA type, super graphic, blood and gore game. I remember playing it when I was kid and I have since become a productive adult. Not because of this game, mind you. I'm just saying it's not gonna scar the psyche of little kids... Glad it's available now on current consoles.

Great game form the past. I owned the PS version back in the day. This game has greatly enhanced visuals but still has the same clunky controls.

This is a great update to a classic PS1 game it could have used some quality of life upgrades but it's still great.

While it’s fun returning to Gallowmere with update graphics, simple things like the occasional checkpoint damper some of the enjoyment.

I never played the original but these graphics look like a newly developed game & the gameplay reminds me of when super mario went 3D. This is a really nice linear world that provides a good alternative to the massive open world's of Red Dead or an Assassin's Creed game. Pick it up, it's a lot of fun!

I only got to play the demo for this game back on the original Playstation. I finally got to explore this game fully in this remake and even completed all the trophies. This is a visually stunning reimagining of the original game and I only hope they decide to remake the sequel. Check it out if you are feeling nostalgic for PS oldies or want to experience a fun and whimsical single player adventure

This game was a lot of fun back in the day it launched. If you picked it up on sale for 9.99 then it’s worth the money but definitely wouldn’t of bought it at the full release price. I feel it could of been remastered along with the sequel as well but last most game publishers they want to milk any game for as much as possible. I’d assume the 2nd will be remastered & released soon unless the sales of this one flopped.

Okay, so when this came out on PlayStation it was great. I loved it bought the sequel. So when I heard the remastered it I was pumped. I started to play it and noticed the music had changed. Kinda bummed I loved the original soundtrack. Controls feel clunky and graphics improved but I think it could have been better. They also should have added part 2 with this.
