    I just opened this to put together after purchasing it a few months back. Guess i should've checked when i got it because 2 legs were broken so this chair is totally useless for me now. And of course it cant be returned.

    This is a good solid chair. My wife who is not too mechanically inclined was able to assemble it with no difficulty. My occupational therapist who showed me how to use it safely said it was one of the best quality shower chairs she had seen. My only complaint is that it's kind of ugly. Some color would help.

    Sturdy, safe, good value. Unexpected (and unwanted!) accident made it difficult to use the shower or bathtub in the "normal" way for several weeks. This bench was a safe and cost-effective solution for keeping myself clean while I healed.

    I recently had knee surgery. This bench makes it easy to get into my tub to take a shower. The back of the seat is sturdy and I can safely rest against it. The handle on the side is a helpful safety feature. The bench can be configured to face either direction. The height is adjustable on each leg and the strong suction holds it safely in the tub on one side and the floor on the other. Well worth the money.

    Unfortunately I could not talk my husband into using the transfer bench -- he thought it was "too cumbersome" for our small bathroom! He's still just using the small round bench (with our grab bars) that we already had. Plus, there was the question about the shower curtain--where to put it.

    The transfer bench works very well and can easily support my weight. The backrest is useful for assisting in moving on the bench and for standing to exit the bathtub. It has met all of my expectations.
