This thing is huge. Construction and design are well thought out. Looks amazing when completed. My only "gripes" are bags are not numbered/separated like Lego does and I wish there were smooth panes for the saucer section. No big deal. Overall, I am very pleased with the kit and would recommend for any Trekker.

I did a lot of research online before buying. The reviews were all over the place. Many people were missing a lot of pieces. The bags are not numbered or sorted. So I had to dump 3000 pieces out and sort and count by hand. I ended up being 61 pieces short. Thankfully, Mega Bloks shipped out the replacement pieces quickly and within a week, I had it built. Build time was roughly 8 hours (including hours of sorting and counting). I've never used Mega Bloks before (I'm a Lego fan) and the fit of some of the pieces was incredibly tight; however the build is VERY stable and secure. I love the light up bussard collectors and the detail is very decent. Ship proportions and overall shape is very good. This IS the Enterprise. Also, one important thing is all the hull markings are printed pieces and I give MAJOR props to Mega Bloks for doing that. Lego uses stickers that can eventually rub off and are a major hassle applying them. The downside to the printed pieces are some of them do not line up. With all that said, the build was fun. It's an awesome collector's item and BIG centerpiece on a coffee table.

We came across this item by chance in Best Buy and had to buy it. My husband couldn't wait to get this finished. It looks great and I didn't realize how big this is.

The final model is quite nice. However the build was a bit tedious due to the bags not being numbered and I had a couple of missing pieces. Mega Bloks was quick to send out replacements. I picked this up when it was on deep clearance but at $150-175 I think it's a good value. Just make sure you have room to display it. The saucer section measures over 15" in diameter. The stand of the model will hang over the edge of most shelves.

Frustration and aggravation are two words while building this Mega Starship. I would get Tupperware containers and organize by color and piece type, cause I went nuts looking for pieces.

Never ever have i put together any lego kinex or megabloks in my life. So i chose this starter kit of 3098 pieces. Took some time but it was worth it. 34" in length. Was missing two pieces but they were received in two days from megabloks

It is beautiful finished product, but took a lot of effort to build, at some point I had to resort to super clue so the pieces to prevent them from falling apart. Overall though I am pleased with the Entrrprusr, it looks grand on my displace case.

Work of art that was worth the 18 hour build time!

It's beautiful when it was finally finished, but not all pieces fit perfectly or even stick together snuggly like Lego's. Little frustration on some parts kept falling off and had to resorted to use crazy glue. It took a lot of patience and time, but final product was very presentable

I saw this at my local Best Buy and immediately started drooling. Then I saw the price and my heart dropped. I looked online and saw it at a great price on Best Buy's web site. I asked the clerk and they honored the price. Let me say I enjoyed every minute putting it together. Keep in mind that this is not Legos so you have to open every bag. I bought a pack of 32 oz tubs and separated everything before I started. It took about three full days to finish it. This is not a beginner kit so be prepared. Note to everyone check there website before purchasing because it may be cheaper.. Thanks Best Buy this will be appreciated for years and years...

This kit has a LOT of pieces. You will need to live long in order to prosper putting together this kit. The final outcome is a great looking model that you'll love to show off to your friends. Some pieces were a little tough to put together so you might need some strong hands at times for this assembly.

Man this build is great, the quality of it is high and it has been a lot of fun putting it together. Though it did not start up like that. The only thing I do not like about this was the lack of labeling they did on the pieces. The instruction manual is like an Ikea manual. Only pictures, of the parts you needed and where to put them together at. Which leads to the way they packed everything. Nothing was labeled and the pieces are in no such order. If you want to put this together without frustration you will needs to sort out all the pieces and then put it together. If not then you will spend hours looking for the pieces that you need.

The end product is nothing short of impressive. However, assembly is more challenging than it needs to be because the components are bagged by type (all like pieces in the same bag) rather than for sequence as needed (i.e. all pieces needed to complete steps 15-20 are in a bag). The only other issue I had was the well-documented bridge module not wanting to sit flat or securely.

Took hours, but worth the time. Looks like a piece of art, but it's not, it a tough to look at. Only regret there aren't others, shuttles, "Bird Of Prey", etc..

Got for my friend and they absolutely loved it. The blocks are well made and go together the same as legos

Great model. Looks fantastic however whomever designed the packaging did not think about ease of locating pieces. The parts are spread through every parts bag. Only a third of the way into the build and every bag is open. This increases build time drastically. Still it is an amazing model!

This is an awesome set....many pieces so for the more advanced

This was a lot of fun. The time spent enjoying the build was a great value. I spent an hour here and there for about 4 weeks and finished up on a rainy weekend. It can be frustrating trying to find a particular piece in the beginning. I made this easier by opening the bags as I needed a piece from them and emptied the bag into a small bowl or plate. The plates and bowls were laid out over two counters. This will take some space the lay out for access to all the pieces. All-in-all, I LOVED this build and the end product is amazing. It displays very well with my other Star Trek items.

It's so huge. It's such a throwback to the original series. It looks great on the shelf, but it takes the whole shelf. It displaced several of my other collectibles. It's iconic and fun to put together. For that price, I would buy again.
