I was constantly dropping signal with my iMac and iPhone, I had heard the EERO would solve this problem and they were correct. Great signal in every room, haven't dropped service once since connecting, I would highly recommend, easy setup as well.

We have been using this router for the past 12 days and like the simplicity and ease of use. The wired connections (via a separate gigabit switch purchase) are working well. The only reservation I have is the WIFI speeds are lower than I expected. I have Gigabit internet through NorthState and the hardwired connection rocks. The WiFi speed near the main unit is pretty good (upstairs) but the speed drops quite a bit as you move away from it. The two beacons (downstairs) provide a good WiFi range but the speed is about a third of the wired connection. Without the beacons downstairs (with just the main unit) my speed downstairs drops to the 50M range on the outer edges inside the house. We have about 1000 sf upstairs and 1000 sf downstairs. Again it does a great job at extending the coverage area but the speeds are a lot slower than what I was expecting.

OMG! This thing is wonderful. I purchased a Netgear Nighthawk router that was horrible kept dropping connection and only had download speed of around 40mbs. I pay for 600/50 access from cable company. Returned the Netgear and got this eero mesh system. Put the main unit in living room and a beacon in each upstairs and down in the basement. Have a full signal through the entire house. Ran speed tests in multiple places and am getting average of 650 download and 55 upload and that is using it as wireless. System is not cheap to be sure but am very happy I bought it. System took 25 minutes to get up and running and that was including the firmware updates it did.

I should clarify, we have not had problem free WiFi, but that is not to be blamed on the EERO mesh network, instead they were caused by our internet dropping out for several days on two occasions due to faulty internet provider parts. The install and setup of the EERO system was simple. All of the slow WiFi issues have been resolved. Last I counted, we had 14 devices connected to the mesh network. My two sons are regularly playing online PC games together from separate computers in the house while the wife and I stream 4K movies without issue. I initially thought I would need to go to a wired network to keep everyone happy. Glad we tried this first!

Went in sold on a google mesh. The team at Best Buy made a great recommendation to look at eero. As a parent I love that you can mirror your kids devises and shut down/limit access. However, that feature is another $99/yr. But well worth it to be able to monitor activity.

Was paying for the fastest internet out there but internet in the house was slow and didn't reach through the house. Was skeptical because I thought I needed a router that had antennas that stood up. This was what I needed all along. My speed is faster then what I'm paying for and it reaches all through the house now. Well worth it!!!!

I bought the eero pro + 2 beacons to replace the WiFi duties of my Xfinity cable modem. I had the XFi pods and good coverage, but throughout the day the internet would drop off (Wifi connected, no internet access). But my work computer, which is hard-wired to the modem, never lost internet. So I reasoned that I needed a third-party router and extenders. I installed the eero pro and two beacons (replacing 3 XFi pods) ~three weeks ago and have had not one single complaint about internet drops. Excellent WiFi coverage in a two-story 3100 sq ft house, even with the eero pro in the corner of the basement.

Setup was less than ten minutes as advertised. Coverage and consistency are fantastic. My only desire is that I could select the 5ghz band instead of the automatic/dynamic selection on offer.

Works well. Devices seamlessly connect to the strongest signal. The app is easy to use and intuitive. The beacons provide a stable 5g signal throughout the house that is approximately 30 to 50% of the highest speed next to the eero base. Solved the problem of weak signal in certain areas of the house.

    Easy Wireless Set Up

Purchased for our work office and internet wi-fi access to customers and guests. Set up was very simple, download app to the cell phone and follow the instructions / prompts. Paired with cable business internet (modem does not have wi-fi broadcast capabilities) and was up in running in about 15 minutes, I located the main eero in the central conference room and stationed the beacons from there. Surprised by the range that the devices covered. I have one weak spot so may have to add a 3rd beacon. The only negative I have found is that the guest wi-fi account allows for connection to devices but does not allow for internet access. After doing a search online it appears that this is a known software issue and there does not seem to be a fix other than rebooting modem and eero system, main connection / account has been fine. As of this writing I have not been able to get the guest network to work properly but will reach out to tech support. Other than the guest issues the system has worked very well and coverage / range is very good. Add that the set up is very easy to do I would recommend this product. Hopefully there is a software update soon to fix the bug in the guest network internet connection.

I'd give the Eero 3.5 stars if I could. It's better than average and could be great with just some small tweaks. The setup was super easy. The interface through the app is really well done and the beacons really do seem to extend the network well. I also like that it notifies me when there are new devices that are added to the network. My one complaint is that Homekit iot devices can have some configuration issues. I assume this could plague other setups like Alexa or Google Home as well. The problem is that you cannot see the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz antenna. Your devices automatically negotiate which network to attach to and there's no way to select between the the networks. This means that you may have smart plugs, for example, that attach to the 2.4Gh network (this is their typical setup) but your iPhone connects to the 5Ghz network. There isn't a way to force the iPhone onto the 2.4Ghz network so that the smart plugs can be added to HomeKit. I'm using smart plugs as just one example but there are other devices that can have this problem. I'm sticking with Eero for now in the hope that they open up the ability to see the different frequency networks at some point. And maybe there's a workaround that I'm not aware of but I haven't found it yet.

I'm a tech guy and work in IT. I've had a lot of routers. I've spent money on expensive networking appliances. This mesh system is the easiest and most reliable wi-fi system I've ever used. More than enough speed, great range and covers the whole house. I still use my Netgear X10 for port aggregation, VPN, etc, but use the Eero as Access Points and tuned the Wi-Fi off on the Netgear. Best decision ever... and money well spent. I don't think about my wi-fi anymore... it just works.

I purchased 1 eero and two eero Beacons in a 2100 sure foot home and have complete coverage in my garage, Ring cameras and connected to my Rainbird irrigation system control box on the outside concrete wall. There are no dead spots and a faster WiFi than with my cable router.I had to call Comcast and have them bridge modem to router and works fine. Set up was longer than ten minutes as described but once i moved the Beacons to the right locations through trial and error all was good. This product is worth the money as it really works. I recommend this product.

PROBLEM: DSL router from CentLink (with purchased 40 Mbps download speed) is totally inadequate for a part home. I have 15-20 devices online (depends on how any kids are home), and DSL was unable to get through the traffic jam. No streaming video, devices getting bumped, just a TOTAL hassle. Speedtests showed my phone getting an average of 22Mbps (sometimes throughput was as low as 9.1 Mbps!) and I was getting pretty tired of it. SOLUTION: Eero to the rescue! Bought the system with high hopes, and it TOTALLY SOLVED the problem. I have 16 devices going as I write this, and all is running perfectly smoothly, no bumps, no dropped devices, no spinning wheels when I want to watch video. The average speeds are 40+ Mbps. This is what Al Gore thought the internet experience should be when he invented it! PROPS to Eero for making this SUPER EASY. Took less than 15 min to connect and get my computers connected. Of course, alarms and doorbells and smart plugs and speakers took a bit of time to add into the system, but it is super easy to do - just takes some time. Also, since I easily can monitor the devices online, I can see if my teen son somehow cracked into my system - and I can immediately block him or anyone's devices with a simple click. PROPS also to the GREAT Best Buy associates who helped me get past the high price of the Eero. Gulp, how much $$$? Yes, there are cheaper systems. No, there aren't many that cost more than Eero. However, my peace of mind, my time, the controls I now have - and the sanity of my family - have been worth the extra costs! TOTALLY recommend.

Had an old modem and router, needed an upgrade. I have a two story house and basement with internet access point only in basement. Total square footage around 3500 square feet. Now have 5G connection everywhere. Setup was very easy. It comes with a 30 day internet security package, which we opted to keep, as much for the ad blocking features as anything else. I wish it wasn’t quite so expensive, but it works perfectly in our home, I no longer think about internet issues at all, so I probably got my money’s worth. Would recommend to anyone.
