I was using the Nighthawk 1750 AC router for a few years. Our TV would always be loading and buffering. I finally realized that I was only getting the 2.5 hz to the tv and speeds maxed out around 30 mbps. I was thinking of just getting an extender from Netgear, but they seemed to break and not work, and were confusing to people, and the customer service was terrible, so i went with the Eero. The App helped me set it all up within minutes and now I have 200 Mbps all over my house. Nothing buffers anymore. Everything works as intended. Now I never worry about my internet being a problem in our incresingly digital world.

Purchased for our work office and internet wi-fi access to customers and guests. Set up was very simple, download app to the cell phone and follow the instructions / prompts. Paired with cable business internet (modem does not have wi-fi broadcast capabilities) and was up in running in about 15 minutes, I located the main eero in the central conference room and stationed the beacons from there. Surprised by the range that the devices covered. I have one weak spot so may have to add a 3rd beacon. The only negative I have found is that the guest wi-fi account allows for connection to devices but does not allow for internet access. After doing a search online it appears that this is a known software issue and there does not seem to be a fix other than rebooting modem and eero system, main connection / account has been fine. As of this writing I have not been able to get the guest network to work properly but will reach out to tech support. Other than the guest issues the system has worked very well and coverage / range is very good. Add that the set up is very easy to do I would recommend this product. Hopefully there is a software update soon to fix the bug in the guest network internet connection.

We've had a standard wifi setup for years and years. We would have the router that came from the internet service provider and then we would add one or two extenders to boost the signal. But, even with that, the signal would be spotty and we'd have to select between which signal to connect. This has cleared up ALL of that. This has covered our entire house (even the Nest camera outside, which would occasionally drop) and we never have to select which wifi to connect to. Setup is super simple. Yes, it's pricier than what I would want, but we haven't had one issue and things now run seamlessly. I would highly recommend.

I'd give the Eero 3.5 stars if I could. It's better than average and could be great with just some small tweaks. The setup was super easy. The interface through the app is really well done and the beacons really do seem to extend the network well. I also like that it notifies me when there are new devices that are added to the network. My one complaint is that Homekit iot devices can have some configuration issues. I assume this could plague other setups like Alexa or Google Home as well. The problem is that you cannot see the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz antenna. Your devices automatically negotiate which network to attach to and there's no way to select between the the networks. This means that you may have smart plugs, for example, that attach to the 2.4Gh network (this is their typical setup) but your iPhone connects to the 5Ghz network. There isn't a way to force the iPhone onto the 2.4Ghz network so that the smart plugs can be added to HomeKit. I'm using smart plugs as just one example but there are other devices that can have this problem. I'm sticking with Eero for now in the hope that they open up the ability to see the different frequency networks at some point. And maybe there's a workaround that I'm not aware of but I haven't found it yet.

I'm a tech guy and work in IT. I've had a lot of routers. I've spent money on expensive networking appliances. This mesh system is the easiest and most reliable wi-fi system I've ever used. More than enough speed, great range and covers the whole house. I still use my Netgear X10 for port aggregation, VPN, etc, but use the Eero as Access Points and tuned the Wi-Fi off on the Netgear. Best decision ever... and money well spent. I don't think about my wi-fi anymore... it just works.

I was using a Netgear Nighthawk but Wi-Fi signal was weak in a few areas of the house. I got the EERO and the Wi-Fi signal strength is incredibly strong everywhere in the house. Very easy to setup and flexible for where you place them in your rooms.

We were looking for a mesh networking system to improve coverage in our house since we suddenly all had to work and attend school from home. This system improved our coverage drastically so our entire house has strong WiFi now, but everything is much faster than it was with our older router. Eero support is excellent, and their security features are impressive. I like how many things I can tweak on the system, but it’s also really friendly for someone looking for more of a “plug and play” experience. While it’s pricey, I feel this was money well spent and I can’t recommend it enough.

I purchased 1 eero and two eero Beacons in a 2100 sure foot home and have complete coverage in my garage, Ring cameras and connected to my Rainbird irrigation system control box on the outside concrete wall. There are no dead spots and a faster WiFi than with my cable router.I had to call Comcast and have them bridge modem to router and works fine. Set up was longer than ten minutes as described but once i moved the Beacons to the right locations through trial and error all was good. This product is worth the money as it really works. I recommend this product.

Bought this to replace an old Apple airport extreme and express that just wasn't cutting it anymore. Was able to get the base and beacons set up with 20 to 30 minutes. These are running all my Apple tvs, computers and tablets with no problems. The system gives good speed, but may mover them around to to see if I can boost the speed a bit more, but can't complain. Also like the night light feature on the beacons and not having to put them on a table is a great convenience. Over all just a nice looking system that blends into the room, instead of being an eyesore.

Bought this with our new Spectrum modem.. Wish I did this 4 years ago! The system installation was quick and most of the devices were able to seamlessly transfer over (not have to redo the password/ pairing) and I found the internet/ wifi signal reaches around the house much better. The portable units do get very warm but we have had no issues with them. This includes our 2 story house (3000 sf total) and reaching our fire pit in the back yard.. I was even able to livestream a video of our fire pit for a "virtual camping event".

Had an old modem and router, needed an upgrade. I have a two story house and basement with internet access point only in basement. Total square footage around 3500 square feet. Now have 5G connection everywhere. Setup was very easy. It comes with a 30 day internet security package, which we opted to keep, as much for the ad blocking features as anything else. I wish it wasn’t quite so expensive, but it works perfectly in our home, I no longer think about internet issues at all, so I probably got my money’s worth. Would recommend to anyone.

This is super easy to install and while it does not push out all of the possible 1gb of possible bandwidth it pumps out enough. I have over 7k sq/ft and this is the first system that was able to push the wifi throughout the house. Well worth the price, but fyi for my house I have 6 access points.

We have 1 Gb internet connection. The WiFi router the internet provider supplied us with was giving us 19 to 50+ Mb download speeds with spotty connections throughout the hose. It was frustrating watching TV. Doing some research found the eero mesh system and decided to take the plunge. Even on sale it wasn't cheap. Got it home read the instructions and installed it. It has be be the easiest wireless router I've ever set up. You plug in the addition repeater beacons and I'm getting 600Mb to 700mb wireless throughout the house consistently. Its solid. I'd have no problems recommending this.

After upgrading to giga-Speed internet, I found that my existing Apple WiFi wasn’t able to take advantage of the speed I was paying for. After looking at all the options and reading reviews online, it seemed that the premium price of the eero would be money well spent, especially since WiFi I plays such a large role in so many facets of our home life. It turns out that the reviews were correct. The eero system spreads high speed internet throughout the house like butter on warm toast. After placing the main hub where my Apple Airport used to reside, the super simple installation app guided me to the best locations to plug in the “beacons”. It literally took 8 minutes from unboxing to completion. Couldn’t have been any easier, and couldn’t work any better. Very satisfied customer.

Thank you - thank you - thank you to Cameron of Best Buy for pointing me in the right direction when it came to this router. Multiple wifi pieces of equipment and the router made sure everything worked efficiently and with the best speed I have ever had. This router is well worth the price.

Have not installed yet but rep said it’s best for what we need. We have two brick walls that our WiFi signal must go through so the Best Buy Rep suggested this product which has a plug in that help boost our signal in the back of the house. We are hopeful that this will make an improvement.

Used to have just a single higher end WiFi router but kept encountering issues and having to reset too often. I finally switched over to an Eero system and it has been fantastic. the setup is super simple and the monitoring app is simple and easy to use. I have complete control and status updates of my home network system that i never had before. The coverage is great! I have full bars even outside my house to the curb. Would definitely recommend this setup for any house. And the great thing is you can expand if your coverage needs to grow.
