This case is one of those accessories you didn't know you needed until you do. I bought it on sale, and just recently my son wanted to borrow my Quest 3 and bring it to his Mom's. This case to the rescue! It fits the Quest & the Elite Battery strap just fine. The controllers were a little janky to fit in there at first, but it worked great once I got used to it. I also tossed in a charger & cord and that fit just fine. Already worth the price!

Great case! Protective, everything fits nicely, including my Zenni lens case and sweatbands. Charging cord has its own little compartment. My controllers have the active straps attached and they fit well in the dedicated spots. The Meta Quest 3 is an investment and this case gives me peace of mind. I've heard others have trouble with the zipper breaking so I'm intentionally gentle with that. I toss the case in a tote bag with other items when travelling.

Garbage. Zipper broke after 1 day. Does it fit everything precisely? Yes. But $70 is very steep for this and it's poor quality. Many better, cheaper options out there. Save your money and buy a different brand.

I recently purchased the Meta Carrying Case for my Quest 3, and while it certainly gets the job done in terms of protecting my Meta Quest 3, it falls short in terms of true portability and convenience. The build quality of the case is undeniably impressive. It feels durable and well-constructed, assuring me that my VR headset is well-protected. The interior is also well-padded and fits the Quest 3 snugly, so I never worry about it getting scratched or damaged during transit. However, the main issue with this carrying case is that it's about as portable as a small backpack. The size is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it offers ample storage space, allowing me to carry not only my Quest 3 but also some of its accessories, such as controllers and cables. On the other hand, it's quite bulky and awkward to carry. The basic handle strap provided isn't very comfortable, and the sheer size of the case makes it impractical for casual, on-the-go use. I can't help but feel that this case missed an opportunity to be more functional. It's large enough that it could have easily been designed as a backpack, providing more comfort and convenience for users. Carrying a backpack is much more natural than lugging around a case of this size with a single handle. In conclusion, the Meta Carrying Case for Quest 3 offers exceptional protection and build quality for your VR headset. However, its lack of true portability and a more ergonomic carrying option hinders its overall appeal. If you're primarily looking for a secure storage solution for your Quest 3 and don't mind the bulk, this case may suit your needs. But if you need something truly portable and user-friendly, you might want to explore other options on the market.

    Fits Well, Not Waterproof

Meta – Carrying Case for Quest 3 - Gray My Overall Impression Nice carrying case for the Meta Quest 3. Wish the outer material was waterproof and didn’t stain easily. What Worked Well *Nice Appearance – This carrying case is nice looking and has the Meta logo. *Storage for Whole System – You can corral all of your components and store them in one place. This case will hold the Meta Quest 3, an Elite Strap, both hand controllers, and there’s a bin to place the charging cable. *Fits Well – The components fit well in this case. They don’t move around much at all when carrying, which will help to protect all of the contents. *Zipper – The zipper is really smooth, so the case is easy to open and close. What Could Have Been Better *Fabric Shell – The outer face of the case looks nice, but it’s fabric. This case is not waterproof and can stain fairly easily. This is by far my biggest issue with the case. *Power Cord Storage – It’s nice that there’s storage for the charging cable, but it’s a little small. You have to make some effort to actually get the cable in the small compartment. *Hand Strap Only – I can carry the case by the hand strap, but it’s not big enough to go over my hand and onto my wrist. There’s no longer strap to carry on your shoulder or as a backpack. This is a minor issue for me. Final Conclusion I am officially giving the Carrying Case for the Meta Quest 3 a 4.5 star rating. Since Best Buy doesn’t do half stars, I am bumping it down to 4. It works well to carry the contents that it’s made for, but the outer shell is not waterproof and can stain easily.

    Great Quest 3 Travel Bag!

This case is perfect and the Quest 3 fits perfectly inside. Sure it’s a little bulky, but it does the job. The material is very nice and I feel like it’ll do its job. It feels durable and the case clearly offers protection from minor mishaps. I like how each component has a built in spot. The controllers have their designed area and the quest headset does too. I think they designed it so that it utilizes every inch properly. It’s designed for the components and not much else. My only real con is that it’s a bit bulky. It offers great protection, which you want. It might not travel well if you have other things. The case takes up a lot of space if you’re putting it in a bag. It comes with a hand strap to carry. It’s fine, but a shoulder strap more like a backpack would’ve been a cool option. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s just my own thought. Pros: Lightweight and durable I feel it’s actually protecting! Everything I need with my quest 3 fits! Zipper is very responsive and glides with ease Cons: Bulky Shoulder strap would’ve been cool Overall: It’s a great case. This is perfect for if you’re looking to protect your expensive purchase. It’s by Meta, so it’ll work and fit nicely. Each piece has its location, so I like that. There’s not much space left after it’s packed, so just know that.

The Meta Carrying Case for Quest 3, presented in a stylish gray, is a standout accessory for virtual reality enthusiasts seeking both protection and convenience. Its lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to carry, ensuring that the Quest 3 can be transported safely without adding unnecessary bulk. The case boasts excellent protective qualities, with a sturdy exterior and soft interior lining that shield the headset and accessories from bumps, scratches, and dust. Furthermore, the ease of use provided by the smooth-operating zipper adds to the overall user satisfaction, allowing for quick and hassle-free access to the VR headset. This case is highly appreciated for its balance of protective features and lightweight portability, making it an essential purchase for Quest 3 owners who prioritize both security and ease of use.

Yes, it’s expensive and bulky, but it’s absolutely protective and it’s great quality! It is a great improvement over the design of the case for the Meta Quest 2 especially with the slots for the controllers. It even comes with a little compartment where you cab store the charging brick and cable for better organization! This also means that the charger will not be moving around inside the case!

Makes What Was Previously Good Even Better

The Meta case for the Quest 3 takes the good from the Quest 2 case and makes it even better. Material choices are largely the same and I like that. Both the exterior and interior are lined with a felt material that is grippy to help prevent accidental slips off of tables and furniture. It’s also far more durable than it looks. We’ve traveled many times with our Quest 2 and the hard exterior shell is extremely resistant to being crushed when crammed in the trunk of a car with suitcases. After multiple years of use and abuse, there is no visible exterior damage to speak of. I expect the Quest 3 case to hold up just as well. For the zipper, Meta added a silicone grip for the Quest 3 case and removed fabric adjacent to the zipper which helps prevent unwanted snagging. Internally, the Quest 3 case has more space than the 2 because it is wider. This allows you to fit the Quest 3 headset with the regular or elite strap installed and both touch pro controllers with or without active straps. Unlike the Quest 2 case that only had a slot for the charging cable, the Quest 3 case has a dedicated compartment with a lid. This helps keep plastic bits and bobs from rubbing against one another. The nub on the case lid helps keep the headset itself from bouncing around too. The only real negative with this case is its overall size/profile. The Quest 2 case was already pretty large and as I already mentioned, the Quest 3 case is even wider. That being said, the strap on top of the case makes it easy to carry on its own or to strap to a bag with a carabiner. While it is large, it will still fit in the big pouch of a backpack. There just isn’t going to be a whole lot of space left over for other items you might be traveling with. All in all, I really like this case and won’t be trading it for as long as I own the Quest 3. While it is spendy, you do get what you pay for.

The best thing about this case is how easy it is to organize all the hardware of the Meta Quest 3. And all the while keeping everything neat and very well protected with the hardshell of the case. It may be a bit pricier than other cases. But is worth every penny.

Purpose built for the Quest 3

The first time you pick up the Quest 3 Carrying Case you might think it isn’t very sturdy because it’s light for its size. While it may seem that way in usage it seems to be strong as one of our family members accidentally sat on it and didn’t do any damage to it. It has a recycled felt finish that is a multicolored gray tone. It gives it a slightly rough texture that means it is less likely to scratch surfaces but also less likely to slide around. Meta has said they have reengineered the zipper to prevent snags. Without owning the original it is hard to comment but the zipper on this case feels very consistent and solid. There also isn’t any fabric close to the seam that would allow it to snag. On the interior is more felt. It appears that case has an inner and outer shell with a gap, probably to improve impact resistance. The case supports the Quest 3 with either the standard strap or the Elite Strap. It has raised portions in specific places to keep the Quest 3 from moving around. The center section has two slots to hold the controllers. Strangely the cutouts don’t match the shape of the controller as if the slots were intended for a different design or can maybe also hold a different controller design. Either way, they hold the Quest 3 controllers firmly. In the same center section is a small compartment to hold the power cord and power adapter. It is the only storage space inside the case and wouldn’t fit much extra. Overall, the case is a very compact design intended to carry just the essentials. If you are looking for a carrying case for the Quest 3, don’t need to carry extra items, and like the idea of a purpose-built case it’s worth a look.

Nice Case But Needs Some Improvements.

I have the Meta Quest 3 headset and needed to have a nice case to keep everything together and safe. This case is very sturdy and has a great layout for the controllers, headset, and a compartment for the charger and cable. The zipper is of good quality and works smoothly. I am not a fan of the outer design, but it makes sense since the headset fits perfectly. I am also not a fan of the lighter color fabric since lighter colors normally show stains and dirt. I have not experienced any issues with this yet since I have not owned it for very long nor have spilled anything on it yet. My only major complaint about this case is the choice of a hand strap instead of a handle, backpack, or shoulder strap. Since most of my time I will be using this headset at home, portability is not a big deal. I would like to point out that the hand strap is on the small size and larger hands may not fit through the loop to hold around the wrist (see photo). Overall, I would recommend this case to keep your gear safe, but would keep an eye out for future products with portability in mind.

Zipper no longer gets stuck. Case is wider. Charger compartment with lid is great. Easy to place headset and controllers without any hassle. The elite headstrap with battery + controller active straps fit perfectly fine. The only concerning thing is the cameras rubbing on the case itself. No scratches so far, but it does worry me.

There is not really much to say about the Meta Quest 3 Carrying Case, just get one! I highly recommend it. With the Meta Quest 3 Carrying Case, I can place and keep my Meta Quest 3 and all of its accessories together in a single place: - The Quest 3 itself. - The Touch Plus Controllers (with their straps). - Elite Head Strap. - Cable and charging adapter. The construction feels solid, it is very soft the touch and the zipper slides nicely without much effort. There is an internal compartment for the cable and charging adapter, it also has two holders for the Touch Plus Controllers. It is easy to carry around, so it is not only handy for travelling (placing in your carry-on luggage as we are planning on doing when visiting relatives) or going places with it, but even just at home, you can have all your components securely placed in a single container that just fits perfectly and doesn’t take much more space than the Quest 3 itself. In addition, you’d avoid the never-ending story of lost or misplaced controllers, cables and adapters.

Love the design, looks super sleek. Fits perfectly with the elite strap, and has a hidden compartment for the charger. Makes traveling way easier. Not a fan of the flat felt material for the outer shell. Of course I got it dirty within a few days, the small fibers made it hard to clean (thus, there is a stain). Would recommend some sort of ballistic nylon canvas if they were ever to update.
