Love the zoom and follow feature. Sometime itll recognize random things as faces.. The caller on the other end sees my video stream clear. Eqsy setup.. This was the only device in the market that was a plug and play for the TV. Wish there was a input switch on the Portal remote when someone called so i can see whos calling or have the TV's CEC automatically switches to the Portal. I have to get the TV's remote to, turn on the TV, and switch it. By then I missed the call.

This is a great product. I bought it primarily for my parents and to be able to make video call with them. My parents are over 70yrs old each and they can’t really hold the phone for a long time for video call. This product allow them to sit down relax and enjoy the video call with me or their grandkids. The great thing about it is that the camera follows you if you move around the room and it also automatically adjust if you’re near the camera or far from it

Great item ! awesome to see your family in a big screen

My great grandsons are both living in CA as of November of last year. I bought portals for myself and one for each of my granddaughters so I could visit with my boys in each of their homes. We visit every week and I couldn't make it without seeing their beautiful faces and making a fool of myself reading them the stories made available on the portal. My boys are big as life in my living room and though it certainly is not the same, it's the next best thing.

Set up was a little complicated. Remote control pairing took a while. Facebook account is a must to have, even if you want to use WhatsApp only. Camera auto pan and zoom are excellent with clear audio. Making or receiving audio only calls is not working well. Built-in Alexa support is good. Story mode is awesome for Kids. Overall happy with the purchase. Hoping for more additions or improvements on the interface.

Fantastic consumer tech for a great price. Camera pans and zooms automatically and is pretty accurate with that. We keep the mic off and the camera shut when not in use but for the price you can't beat the ability to have a tv-sized video conferencing system in your living room. Much better experience for a family than trying to squeeze everyone into the smaller device - which we also have. All-in-all VERY Happy with this device

Works as it should. got it to facetime family on occasion. The filters on it are fun to mess around with.

Worked as expected. It is so neat to turn any TV into a Star Trek View Screen for communicating.

Best Whatsapp device ever to talk to parents, with whole family in one frame at a time .

I love this thing. I can see everyone on my big screen tv while talking to my family overseas.

This is a good product if you make family or group calls with any frequency. Having everyone on your TV makes it easier to see them, and they are not all crammed as they appear on your phone or tablet. It was easy to set up. The only downside is the camera is always open unless you close it, adding an automatic open/close feature would go a long way to adding a sense of privacy.

Easy setup, got everything connected within minutes. They don't include the required HDMI cable, luckily I had a spare one. Connected to our Facebook account made a few test calls using the built-in voice feature, worked great! Was able to hear and see everyone clearly, picture quality was great and everyone was impressed with the quality and the tracking feature. The cameras privacy shutter is a great addition.

Set up easy. Easy to use. Good video and sound. Too bad it will not integrate with the Harmony Elite remo.

Purchased several of these to give to family members so that we can keep in touch during CV times. The video quality is actually really good! We love the feature where it follows you if you happen to be moving around the kitchen, chasing a kiddo, or whatever the case may be. If you are wanting something more than just a phone screen size, I would highly recommend this!

This device was SO easy to setup! Plug in power, plug in to HDMi on your tv and bam!! The Facebook setup takes over and you are online in under five minutes. The quality of the sound and picture is HD. The remote control is fast and is easy to use. The voice control is so precise and is accurate as can be. The best Facebook device I have ever bought. I have three portals in the house and this one makes the fourth.

We got this unit for video calls to our children and grandchildren. This device makes the calls so much more convenient; you don't have to hold your cell phone while talking...the call is displayed on your TV, giving you a great picture of the folks you're talking to and the camera actually follows the people in your room, keeping everyone in the conversation. It was a little technical at first but it is very easy to use.
