We bought a Portal TV for us and 10" Portals for our 3 married sons as Christmas gifts. They all love the gifts. It makes "facetiming" so much easier. We can sit comfortably on our couch and see/communicate with their whole families. Unit is very easy to set up and get started. The camera quality and audio quality has surprised all of us. One of the best Christmas gifts we have come up with in a long time.

I love, love, love this to keep in touch with my grandchildren that moved 1000 miles away. It shows most of the room of which your in and the stories that are a part of it, as you read the story, you become some of the characters, which my 6 and 4 year old grandchildren enjoyed. They are only about 5 minutes long, so they would say, another grandma. Best Christmas present for us and them.

The video is pretty clear and tracks you pretty well. Sometimes the software can be a little buggy. Sometimes I will end a call on Whatsapp and it still thinks I am in the call even though the call has ended. Would be better if they added a Zoom app and ability to video call using other means besides Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger.

Perfect for deployed families with internet. Great quality.

I initially didn't want to buy it after all the bad reviews but decided to take the chance as it was easier to talk to my deployed spouse. Set up was very easy, worked very well. Call only got dropped by internet issues overseas. Use it to call family for the holidays so we can see everyone.

Very simple to set up. We got this so grandparents could keep in touch with their grand kids during the quarantine. The kids love the story time feature. The only down thing is you have to buy a separate HDMI cable as it does not come with one. Its important to know when purchasing a cable that it is HDMI 2.1 for a smooth transmission.

It’s been a great way to stay connected with family in a safe manner. We have them setup in several family members homes. We eat dinners in front of it so we can feel like we are at one table, sit and talk like we are in the same room, it’s really helped us to feel more connected.

My wife and I are taking care of her dad and stepmother so we bought this just before Thanksgiving. We used it for a virtual Thanksgiving family gathering and everyone enjoyed it. Setup and use was very easy. My in-laws have had a blast with some of the AR tools/filters and really got a laugh from seeing themselves on TV. We were able to use it on Christmas day so everyone could see each other open presents and be together remotely. Everyone else has been using their phones but have asked us about Facebook Portal we were using connected to a large TV. The picture and sound comes in clear on the other end and it automatically pans and zooms to track people in view. That was real nice when trying to let everyone see four of us sitting in the living room. Lots of other features we haven't tried to use yet. My only complaint is that it requires a Facebook account but most people seem to have one.

Power supply / adapter could all be made an USB - c type, instead of having something completely different (aka the needle point adapter). Aside from that, and lack of apps from the meta store, the product was good in build and quality. It does exactly as it is marketed.

Great product from Meta, did not expect something like this to be available for personal use. Decent social media connectivity options.

It’s a fantastic product to connect on big screen with friends and family.

Got it hooked up with NO problems. Configure the WIFI. It then needed to do a software update to the latest version. After the update configured our FACEBOOK account. Then the fun begins by calling our daughters house while sitting in our living room. It works Great!!

Easy to set up. We bought two, one for us and one for our kids. Our kids and family are across the country. Seeing them in their living room on our big screen TV vs. on a little phone screen has greatly reduced much of the frustration and sadness of not being together. We love the Portal!

Item came earlier than stated which I appreciated. Easy setup and works great.....have used it several times over the holidays to see and talk to friends and family on the wide screen of the television rather than a small screen on a phone, laptop or iPad!

I recently purchased four of these from Best Buy and a very good price. After easy installation, it worked just as advert to ours. I am a very cautious reviewer, after looking for any defects or problems, sadly I could not find any. Portal TV is the way to go for great video messaging
