Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Quest 2 Elite Strap's comfort and improved fit, with many praising how it enhances the overall headset experience. The weight distribution is also frequently highlighted as a significant improvement. While some users find the price to be high, the positive feedback on comfort and fit seems to outweigh this concern for many buyers.

Listen, if you use a quest 2 headset (which you do, you're literally viewing this) get this. The default strap is borderline an act of heinous activity... But this right here? It's AMAZING. Perfect for my fellow big noggin havers. Yes it's expensive as heck, but it is WORTH IT.

So if you are thinking about buying one of these, keep in mind that the first batch of them have broken on people. Be careful with it, and if you're like me you won't have any issues. The fit is good, and I have no complaints with comfort. Look into the alternatives first but this is a decent first-party option.

As a person with a smaller head, this was a life saver when it comes to holding on the Oculus firmly on my head while I'm moving it all over the place. It just made me feel much more secure flipping my head around

The stock rubber straps were ok for stationary use but gets wobbly with movement. Switched over to this band and the headset is firmly and comfortably in place. Adjustment is easy. I saw similar comments, saw the price and hesitated, but now I am glad I bought it. If you spend more than 10min on Oculus, I would highly recommend it. It fits my large head (XL baseball cap size) too.

The Elite Strap definitely makes the Quest 2 more comfortable by distributing weight more evenly across your head, particularly the back. I needed this because I sometimes do hour long sim racing stints. If you are only using your headset for 10-20 minutes at a time, then this may not be necessary. Some of the headset weight still falls on the front of your face, but this definitely helps. Buy with confidence, just know its not essential.

Definitely better than the flimsy strap that comes with the quest 2 but could be better with the mechanism being all plastic (as far as I know). I would recommend getting the kiwi design strap though because it is cheaper and has more features.

I started using this the second I got my Quest 2 in. After looking into the headset, people highly recommended some sort of alternative to the original straps it comes with. The only issue people have with this is that it can break. I haven't seen that issue at all, and I've bought 2 year Geek Squad break/replace for this. For someone with a large head like mine, I'm incredibly satisfied with the fit and comfort of this.

Ok, I’ve been handling this thing delicately with all the reports of it snapping. So far, so good. It definitely is a much more comfortable fit for me, balancing the weight of the device perfectly. I get about 2 additional hours of gameplay. I’m happy just hope mine doesn’t break.

Much more comfortable than the standard version! To be honest, I think that the quest 2 should just come with this built in! Compared to the old one, it feels like heaven. I used to have extreme discomfort from my hair being pulled, but when i bought this one its a few hours before i have to adjust my strap. plus it just feels like it fits and stays on my face better!

You should buy a head strap for your quest 2. I bought this one, it's fairly comfortable for long play sessions and while it is a little on the pricey side for what it is, it looks seamless on the device, and fits in the official carry case neatly. The default strap that comes on the quest is terrible. This will make the whole experience better.

Significantly better than the straps that come with the Quest 2. They keep the headset sitting securely and comfortably against my face even during the most intense of play sessions. Paired with the new rubber cover that Oculus provided, it's comfortable for all sorts of lengths of play sessions. Couldn't recommend enough.

The meta quest is very heavy and the strap that comes with it slides down, this however helps stabilize and off set the weight from your face to your head so it’s not so much pressure on your cheeks and nose. Love this would recommend using it!

The Elite Strap works great. I know that there has been issues with it breaking but after a month of use it is working fine. The only issue I have is that I should have bought the one with battery pack. Obviously that was my mistake in judgement.

I bought this to improve the comfort on the Oculus Quest 2 I recently purchased. I would have preferred the elite strap with battery but it is sold out everywhere. This elite strap was pretty easy to assemble to the headset, but I found after a couple nights of playing with it that it is simply not that much more comfortable and creates a few new annoying problems. It makes taking the headset off a bit of chore since you have to ratchet the thing basically wide open to free your head. It's loud and takes a few seconds. I prefer the elastic strap since you can just pop it on and off real quick. This thing is also pretty finicky. It feels horrible until you mess with it and get it just right. Turn the knob, adjust the visor angle, tighten the top strap. It's very fiddly and ultimately isn't much comfier. You can't really overthink and over fiddle the original strap. It's just plug and play. This elite strap creates another problem since it makes the entire unit much larger, which makes storing it a bit more challenging. The original strap doesn't really add any size to the unit so you can pretty much tuck it anywhere. This elite strap is solid and extends the length substantially, which makes it hard to store I found. You can ratchet it in fully to make it as small as possible, but now you have to fully extend it whenever you want to put it back on. It's just inconvenient. It also pretty much eliminates your ability to rest the back of your head on something since there is now a giant ratchet back there. The elastic strap I believe was designed with this in mind. You can comfortably wear it on a couch or chair with a headrest with no interference. Ultimately I wasn't impressed with this product and I believe it is significantly overpriced. I ended up finding a magnetic cushion addon for the back of the elastic strap that you can mount a battery bank to for extended life and counterweight. I haven't received that piece and the battery yet, but it was $40 total for both and should have all of the benefits of the elastic strap with added comfort and battery life for less money than this elite strap, so I would recommend looking elsewhere.

    A Must-Have Accessory for Quest 2

This head-strap is basically a full replacement for the original strap. Once you get this, your headset won't bob around at all, staying fixed on your face. It's added weight balances the headset better on your head and reduces motion sickness. The price might be a little high to some, but I say it is 100% worth the money!

This add on makes the experience much more enjoyabkr and comfortable. Being able to tighten the headset with the wheel makes it feel nice and snug but not too tight.

    The Best Strap for Oculus!!!

The Oculus Quest 2 Elite Strap does a good job of making the headset a more comfortable and universal device. It makes it much easier to find the best fit within seconds, and makes the headset more comfortable to wear over longer stretches of time. Quest 2’s inherent design still keeps it from being the most comfortable VR headset on the market.

While you can get away with the standard quest 2 head strap there is no comparison when upgrading to this one. It is way better at supporting the headset and is even easier to adjust with the dial on the back. I do feel that the unit should come with this by default but, I'll excuse it since the quest 2 already comes at a very competitive price.
