Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Quest 2 Elite Strap's comfort and improved fit, with many praising how it enhances the overall headset experience. The weight distribution is also frequently highlighted as a significant improvement. While some users find the price to be high, the positive feedback on comfort and fit seems to outweigh this concern for many buyers.

Works well as a strap. Bit heavy but secures well.

A must have for the Oculus

The Oculus 2 comes with a pretty cheap head strap that really takes away from the VR experience. Comfort is lacking and it doesn't stay in place all that well. This did seem to resolve that. I can now use the headset until the battery runs out without suffering any pain. It also does a nice job of redistributing the weight.

This product is a great addition to your Oculus set. Not only is it comfortable in the back area for your head. The round nob helps adjust it and if like me you use it for games that help you sweat it stays in place. I use special oculus glasses so I don' t have to wear my normal glasses and if it moves even by a little, I get headaches. Once I adjusted it to my comfort level it didn't move. A great product overall.

While the Meta Quest 2's immersive worlds is decent, the included headstrap's forehead pressure triggered motion sickness after only 20 minutes. Thankfully, the Elite Strap proved a revelation! Its comfortable design evenly distributes weight, eliminating forehead pressure and boosting my VR endurance. If the base strap leaves you longing for longer sessions, consider the Elite Strap!

I think the strap greatly increases comfort for the Quest 2. Ordinally, I had the strap sitting on the near the top of the back of my head, and I had neck pain / upper head pain. However, I figured out how to shift the strap lower down the back side of my head so the weight distributed better and it became much more comfortable.

I'm giving this 4 out of 5 stars because the product I received was very well made and a HUGE upgrade over the strap that's included in the box with the Quest 2. A vocal minority of people did have defective Elite Straps that have cracked, but I can bend mine in every direction like a rope and it holds up, no issues, no cracks, nothing. This device is very comfortable and easily adjustable and will be the only upgrade that most people will need.

The strap that comes with the headset was very flimsy. This really made it fit more snug and it is waaaayyy more comfortable. Highly reccomend.

I'd seen many reviews saying this band had issues of the frame cracking or snapping. But I didn't have issues of either for at least a year and a half before I started to notice cracks. If you take care of it and aren't rough using your headset it should be fine. I wasn't rough with mine but I just think the material is a bit flimsy. Comfort wise it hurts after awhile but I bought some extra padding and managed to get it to fit and I was able to wear it for hours if desired. Also feels SO much more secure on my head. Didn't have any issues of worry that my headset would fly off my head if I moved too quickly.

I know these straps are getting some bad press. However, I think that the strap will hold-up under the following conditions: 1. Don't try to bend the side plastic too much, especially when cold. 2. Don't yank the back of it to extend it. 3. Don't push on the back to extend it. 4. Use the little wheel exclusively to adjust the size of the strap. I would recommend the strap for adults, but I don't think it will hold-up with heavy use by multiple people, especially younger users who may not be as careful with it. It is extremely comfortable and definitely balances the headset to relieve some of the weight of the mask. While this mask is an acceptable mask, I think that there will be an increasing number of third-party options that may provide a better value.

I hated to spend the extra $50. but this was really worth it and I’m glad I didn’t let the $50. get in my way... the strap that comes with the Oculus is very uncomfortable and kept falling down, this Elite strap is super comfortable and keeps the Oculus in place. With the Elite strap I can play for much longer. 100% worth the extra $50.

Really like this compared to the one it comes with. Balances the weight better and stays put. If you are going to use the meta quest alot, I'd suggest getting the one with the battery pack, you won't regret it.

Wife likes it for some VR actions and not for others. Switches between this and the one that comes with as needed. Daughter uses it with everything and lovs it. I do not the VR. As other reviews have stated it’s a preference to how it fits for each different game and how you’re moving using the VR, trial and error. Easy to snap on and adjust.

At first glance thought this was just some extra junk accessory to buy for the Quest 2 but I was wrong. It is almost a necessity after dealing with the original Quest 2 headstrap. Pricey but worth it

So far so good. Way more comfortable than the strap that comes with the headset. I haven't had any issues with the product cracking. Overall very happy with it. Took away a star because I think it is too pricey.

I barely used the original strap but it was a lot more wobbly and lose compared to this. This makes the headset more comfortable too. However, this should be the standard strap and they shouldn't be upcharging it this much. You can buy an phone driven vr headset with the optics and casing and strap with this quality for less than this. The review asks for a rating on sound quality so I will clarify that this doesn't effect the headset sound quality AT ALL. It is just a bunch of plastic and fabric. No audio elements. That is part of the headset and doesn't change by using this.

In researching the Oculus Quest 2, there were several recommendations to upgrade the head support for comfort and better security while it's on your head. So I purchased it, and it does make the VR really feel more secure on your head. I believe it is worth it since the VR itself is such an awesome experience.

Broke after 2 years, and my protection expired

This strap was decent and offered more support than the strap that originally came with the Oculus/Meta Quest, but like the title says, it broke today, which is shortly after the two year extra protection I bought expired. I was just putting the headset on like normal when it snapped. I'm not a super heavy VR user either, I play a few hours a week at most. I'm not sure if I can somehow get a replacement, bummer that I paid for extra protection and I don't believe I can use it now...

A must have for comfort. Light and easy to tighten. Took a while to figure out how to disconnect other strap. Had to watch a video as where I was pulling felt like I was going to rip arm off. I would have without the video. All in all though great for comfort

So,I don't know what they were thinking when this strap was not part of the original part of the Oculus!!! The fit is so much more convenient and comfortable, when you have more then one person playing , a twist and done...I definitely suggest you get one...big difference for your enjoyment!!!
