I bought this as a birthday present for my son and he is so pleased because we have ruined many charging cords because he uses the Oculus while charging it so this is the best solution ever highly recommended have fun

but if you are going to do VR in a recliner or couch then this really isn't going to be for you. It sticks out enough in the back to be uncomfortable in such settings.

This is a fantastic addition to the meta quest 2 family. I recommend everyone gets this addition.

Keeps the Oculus going for at least 1.5 hours longer than with just the Oculus battery, which is great!

I would have to go half way with the stars because I would have expected more than 15 months before the unit completely stops charging. It was amazing while it charged. I still wear it because the extra support is also one of my favorites about the unit. I like the adjustable dial, so my son and i can both use that same one with ease. Nevertheless, I purchased this particular one for the battery option, and it no longer works. Its basically the same as the extra support headset without the battery. I bought that one at the same as the defective one because i have 2 Q2's.

Great product. So much fun. Watching videos and games on this thing has been amazing.

This is a must have, as the oculus factory battery dies way too quickly, and most of the newer games are battery intensive, so it dies even faster. Also, this strap is way better than the factory strap. Must have if you have an oculus!

It not only does what it’s designed to do, yielding 2 to 3 more hours of headset use (YMMV) when connected & both the headset battery & strap battery & they are fully charged. More importantly, it better balances the headset by reducing the “front heavy feeling” that the headset has with the original strap. Sure, you could find cheaper generic battery packs & use velcro to affix it to the original strap, but the head cradle on the rear of this elite battery strap is quite comfortable in comparison to the original strap included with the headset. A winner in my book, hopefully mine (Manufactured Aug 2021) wont break as others who bought earlier version complained of when this first came out. In any case its my understanding the manufacturer increased the warranty from 1 to 2 yrs for this accessort - so all should be good in my opinion.

This is probably one of the best accessories I have purchased for the Oculus! The increase in battery life is a game changer. Also, I’ve noticed that the addition of the battery on the back of the headset helps offset the weight of the Oculus itself. I could usually only use the Oculus for an hour or so before it was too uncomfortable to deal with, but this battery pack has helped with that substantially. If you’re an avid VR user, go buy this!

Got this for my sons quest 2, i already had one and i love the extra battery. The strap is also great, adding the top strap for more stability and holds your head better, keeps the viewfinder where its supposed to be. Be aware that if you completely drain the main battery and this one, it will take a while to charge, i guess depending on your charger output.

This made a world of difference both in comfort and battery life. I was getting a lot of neck pain with the strap that came with the Quest 2, but once I got this it counterbalanced the weight of the unit and made it more comfortable with more weight carried by the strap directly on the top of my head. I get about double the play time with the extended battery and more time between charges. One thing I like about it too is that if I do run low on battery and need to pub in while playing, the plug is on the bottom of the battery pack on the back so the cord is less in the way compared to if I would need to plug in on the side of the unit. If you're considering buying the Elite strap without the battery, I'd suggest spending the extra money to get the one with the battery. Feels well put together and with care I don't expect it to break.

I should have bought this a year ago! It adjusts to fit and secures it much better than the strap that comes with the Quest 2. The battery even helps with the balance so the headset doesn't pull down. I can't tell how long the battery lasts because I haven't had it run out while using it yet.

Really comfortable strap, especially compared to the stock one. The battery is really light and doesn't make it uncomfortable but does double the life of the device. It's really easy to snap off the old straps and snap on the new one. You just need to remove the face sponge bit to thread the top velcro through, easy to do though. Then you get it on and off your head spinning the round part at the back. Super easy to do. FYI - you leave the battery plugged into the headset and plug the charger into the battery end and it charges both. It actually charges the device first, then the backup battery.

This is a great addition to the Quest! The comfort of the headatrap is the best part! Having the battery pack in the back helps balance the weight of the VR so it's not so heavy on your face. And the extended play time of course is the main reason to purchase this strap! Definitely a great buy!

TLDR: Spend your money on a cheaper alternative for comfort, and a much larger power bank for extended battery. There's no data passthrough with the elite strap's battery, and the improvement to comfort leaves much to be desired. While the Elite Strap definitely adds comfort, it still leaves a lot to be desired. It does not alleviate the pressure the facial interface puts on my forehead. The rest of my head is in luxurious comfort, but my forehead is being impressed upon by the facial interface of the headset and it's painful. If I loosen the headstrap, the headset is too loose, and slides down my face, significantly impacting comfort and visibility. If I tighten it so this doesn't happen, then within ten minutes my forehead is so painful that I have to either loosen the headstrap or gently pull the headset away from my face to alleviate pressure every few minutes. The battery is very useful, however the elite strap with battery does not offer any sort of data passthrough. The extended battery cannot be used if you wish to connect the headset to a PC or other device, accessory, or peripheral. This renders the battery effectively useless for anything other than standalone play, and you may as well go for a cheaper alternative for comfort and use your own, larger power bank for extended battery and maybe even more counterweight than what this elite strap with battery can offer.

This strap doubles the play time with it's battery pack, and has an excellent fit. It's not falling down while playing, like the original strap. The kids can just put it on with ease.

This is a must-have accessory for anyone who enjoys their Quest 2. It doubles the battery life, keeping you immersed for that much longer. The battery also acts as a counterweight to the Quest 2, much more evenly distributing the weight on your head. As someone who wears glasses, this is even more beneficial as I now no longer have to worry about the nose pads on my glasses digging into my nose from the weight of the Quest 2. I purchased the Elite Strap w/Battery while it was on sale for $45 dollars, and it is worth every penny. Definitely consider purchasing this alongside a new Quest 2 if you're looking at the recent price drop, you won't regret it!

Highly recommended for any Quest 2 user. And oddly, the strap with the battery is surprisingly comfortable. It did not add any noticeable weight to me and is certainly better than the original strap. If you take a bit of time to properly fit the strap to your head, you'll get a very comfy fit. The extra battery life for those long gaming... ehhhh I mean exercising sessions make it well worth it. I was a little nervous removing the original strap. It seemed like I needed more effort than I expected, but once you get that old strap off, the new strap snaps in just fine.

This strap has been a life saver! It cradles your head in a way that helps to relieve the common head ache when wearing the standard strap, and it extends the play time of the device quite a bit! When the headset is low battery, just plug in the small wire on the side of the strap and you're set to keep at it. Just make sure you charge the extra battery lol!

Super big upgrade and way more comfortable and secure than the original headstrap. The weight on the back of the head with the battery creates that perfect balance while still giving you extra juice without having to charge every few hours. A bit pricey, but a big boost in comfort and battery life
