Only problem is they don't give you a charging adapter. Quest 3 comes with 18 watt when dock can use up to 40-42 watt. That's only reason I can't give it 5 stars

If you're having trouble getting the Quest 3 to charge when the Elite Strap with Battery is in use, ensure the side arms are in horizontal position before docking on the headset charging cradle. If you're using the extended battery strap, you'll need to do something to level the headset or it won't seat properly because of the weight of the additional battery. Works with controller straps too.

Of course, there is the downside of exorbitant price. For what I paid it should’ve also included an external USB-C port. Overall I am pleased.

More annoying is the batteries that come with the dock. They use pogo pins to supply power to the controller, but they don't stay in place so if you jolt your controllers, they might get knocked out of place and stop working. Still, it's a convenient way to keep your items charged up and ready whenever if you like doing lots of VR.

A Must for Serious VR Usage

Going from a Quest 2 I had to constantly replace my batteries and wasn't a fan of plugging in my charger after every use. This serves as both a stand and charger and allows for quick grab and play action.

Thank goodness for reviewers that stated that. I knew right out the gate to buy one. Comes with special rechargeable batteries for the hand controllers so they can charge in the dock as well.

It is much more convenient than plugging in the headset and replacing batteries, albeit that the controllers dont last as long
