Great Beginner Headset, a Few Shortcomings

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This headset is awesome, but coming from using an HTC Vive, there are a couple drawbacks for me personally. The battery life is not very long, I played like 4 songs on Beat Saber and lost about 25% of my battery charge. I like that the controllers have standard joysticks and buttons, but the controllers don’t have much weight to them. Otherwise, as an introductory headset into VR, I’d highly recommend. Being able to use it practically anywhere and being able to toggle seeing your surroundings with the Action button is a great feature.

And don't you worry, every VR headset has its learning curve, especially when your newly jumping into it, but once you've got the hang of the controls, you'll be maneuvering the Metaverse like it's the back of your hand.

They love it, they can't wait to wake up and play against/with their friends using the internet. I think they have about 5 or more in a group that play each from their own homes.

Meta Quest 3S for my Grandson's Birthday, A Hit!

It was to replace a similar Meta Quest that was 2 years old. That one was a big hit with my grandson, and he plays with it every day. The new one is even nicer! The price was fair for a high tech toy.

I've played some games and it works amazing, and watching movies on them is awesome, especially in theater mode.
