Sure, it's pretty dang pricy, but it is most certainly worth it. I use this with my Quest 3 and like it almost just as much as not having it on.

Works great for my setup where my PC is about 10 feet away near the TV that it is connected to. Keeps the Oculus charged and allows playing compatible PC games. 90 degree connector works best in the Oculus itself for me, straight connector in the PC. USB-C on both ends, so for newer PCs and laptops.

Aftermarket cables don’t have the same quality of this one, but this one is a little on the expensive side. Buy it if you NEED it, otherwise use airlink, steam link, etc.

Oculus Link cable

Bit the bullet and bought the "official" Oculus Link cable to use with my Quest 2. Even though the cost is high, I have been satisfied with it, for two primary reasons: (1) it's 5 meters (16 feet) long, plenty of length without having to connect two UBS cables and the issues that might entail, and (2) the cable is quite flexible, much more so than other long USB cables I've used in other applications, which makes using it (and storing it) easier. Do you *need* the $80 cable with a Quest 2? No, there are cheaper options. Does it work well? Absolutely.

Minus one star for price as it's an expensive one. But in this cable's defense it 100% works for what it's supposed to do. You can get cheaper 3rd party cables but they may or may not work to charge while you are playing. It's 80$ but considering the headset is 299$ I think it's worth it to have something that works properly every time. Also, the Oculus link is really a great feature and this cable does it justice with speedy data transfer rates. I played through Halflife: Alyx on the Quest 2 using this cable and it was perfect.

I have mixed feeling about the Oculus link cable. On the one hand it is very high quality but it is also very costly. There are better options for the price but do your research carefully. The main value here is that if you are using this cable you have the best chance of getting a solid connection tethered to your PC. So if you are having connection issues this cable is your best bet that its not the cause. However many other cables that you could use will work just as well for a fraction of the cost. Again do your research and you should be fine. Remember you do not need this cable if you not playing games from your PC. The Quest 2 is a standalone headset and only uses a link cable when playing PC VR games.

I used other cheap cables but they froze, so I bought this one and its very long , i do wish they had a way to clip a clip strecher to put it on the roof and move around without disconecting. But now there is an app for wireless computer access

This works like a charm, it immediately got me set up for Rift on my laptop. I've started programming in Unity also, no issues with communicating at all. The only reason I put 4 stars is that I assumed it HAD to be this cable. As I've gotten to know more people in the community, I've realized the cheaper options that aren't from Oculus could work just as well.

Works as promised. Bought to use Quest 2 on PC. Most of my VR library is from previously owning multiple Rifts. Most PC versions of games look and function better. While the right setup can be okay using the wireless link connection, the cables way is just superior. While it seems possible there are others out there. This is guaranteed by them. The price is hard to swallow. But I can say that I've never had a problem with it. And there has been no sign of twisting or deformation.

Getting this cable working to connect my Oculus Quest 2 with my three year old desktop was a bit of a challenge in that I needed a USB3/C expansion card and software drivers. Once I was able to sort that out, I found I had to fiddle with the desktop software (Oculus Link beta software, Steam VR, etc) to get everything working. Ultimately, it was well worth the high cost of this cable, for me. I got the same connectivity with a short USB-C cable I had lying around, but having the length and flexibility of this cable is really important for my uses.

I purchased this item for friend & it seems to be of decent quality. I read online that others were having connectivity issues with cheaper cables so I decided to sprang for OEM & it works as advertised. I still believe that this cable is grossly overpriced & should be no more than $40 & hence it loses a star.

If you want to hook your Oculus up to your PC this is the cable for you. Games and content come through with little to no issue. The cable is a bit expensive, but if you want to play games from your PC on your Oculus this cable is a must-have. Cable has plenty of length too so it's better to have a cable that's too long rather than too short.

Works as expected for most of the time, sometimes i have to play around with the cable to make sure it gets detected with my pc. Pricey for sure but i think i couldve easily settled for a cheaper version out there. I dont really use oculus link because i dont have a strong pc but i know that i can once i upgrade

It does it's job really well, It connects your Quest or Quest 2 to your PC to play PCVR games with very little setup, just install the Oculus app on your PC and turn on Quest Link. However it uses USB C both ways and that can be a problem for someone if they don't have USB C on their PC, and this is definitely overpriced but very reliable. I'd honestly recommend Kiwi's Quest Link Cable over this if you are trying to save money or don't have USB C available to you. Either way both cables work perfectly and you get a good image and response time with some compression but not much. Regardless this cable is great and recommended, just know you are paying the Oculus Tax

Very long high quality optical/usb c link for Oculus Quest units to hook up to gaming PC's. This thing keeps your headset charged while allowing you to run high end VR programs from platforms like Steam VR. Works amazing well. Minus one star for price. It's a bit high for a consumer data cable.

Pricey USB C to USB C cable but it works great. No issues, just make sure to tuck it around the head strap or you could destroy your headsets port
