Customers are saying

Customers value the comfort of the Quest Pro, with many praising its improved design and fit compared to previous generations. The headset's pancake lenses and clarity are also well-received, with users appreciating the visual quality and lack of performance issues. However, the high price point and relatively short battery life are significant concerns for many customers.

What a great VR. Fits comfortably with clear imagines, very good color and pretty good sound. I would have given it a 5 rating but the price is questionable.

The Meta Quest Pro is pretty impressive. The visuals are sharp, and I love that there are no annoying cables to deal with. Plus, there's a ton of cool games and apps to dive into. But, man, the design with the batteries in the back? Not a fan. It's a pain when I want to lean back in my chair and just chill. Overall, it's a solid VR headset, but that battery placement could've been thought out better.

Its good, but a beefed up HTC is cheaper by about 100$. The controllers are better than the Quest 2. You dont bump your controllers when manually reloading weapons. But the controllers are not even close to the HTC. The platform (software) is actually decent. They defiantly put a lot of time and thought into making it as easy as possible to use. I did have some issues where is lost track of the controllers and I had to reset them. Not a huge issue but annoying. The colored passthrough is pretty useless. Might as well have made the grayscale from the quest 2 just sharper. It's useless because everything is still really blurry. Like you wont read anything, or be able to fill up a glass cup of water. If you already have a PC, stick with HTC's. You're going to be tethered with this one anyway as the battery runs out quickly. Not hating, for what it is, it's good, but you get more value out of something that only runs graphics and lets your PC do the heavy lifting.

It's a good product, the diverse IPD settings and OLED displays really make it immersive, the face tracking is also really nice, I just wish it was complete face tracking so it could catch my tongue as well. The controllers, after an update, keep overheating and shutting off even when not being held. Overall great product with some issues that could be fixed.

This device is impressive. It’s the 1st VR headset I’ve bought and I only did so for the productivity emphasis. So far I am not sure how it’ll work into my normal workflow but if I can figure that out it’ll be well worth the price.

I have got to get to know this VR in the last couple of weeks. I am highly impressed! The graphics are amazing! I did not buy this for work. I bought it for gaming. Everything I was told about this product being worth it was true! The price tag is a bit hefty but, I would not take back buying it! I would recommend!

If you don't have any issues with spending the money on this it's a great upgrade coming from the quest 2. The new lenses are amazing as well, you are able to look around with your eyes instead of moving your head to look which is amazing! My buggest issues is that they expect you to pay even more money on the full light blicking interface, like i get that its a headset designed for enterprise but still.

The colors are better and the IPD adjustments result in better clarity. But, though the screen is better, it isn't drastically so. The real improvement, for me, is in the controllers. Tracking is substantially more accurate and responsive, and the removal of the rings is a huge win when you are playing games like Synth Riders.

I have been waiting for the price of this to go down, and now that it finally did I had to buy it. I own multiple headsets, including the HP Reverb G2, Pico 4, and the Meta Quest 2. The Quest Pro's clarity is unbeatable by any of the other headsets I own, hands down, and considering the reverb and pico are both true 4K that's a big statement. The trick to the pro is the foveated rendering + pancake lenses, and it works beautifully. I was considering the HTC Vive XR Elite, which pretty much has the same pancake design and resolution, but no foveated rendering... Meta just pretty much crushed HTC before they even released it officially by lowering the price. Worth every penny.

If your a VR veteran, this could be a decent upgrade Best lenses I've seen in a headset, partnered with great tracking, some hefty displays, and the addition of face and eye tracking, it's a decent headset on paper However, out of the box comfort is outrageous, wearing for over an hour can cause pain in the back of you kneck, your forehead, and even a headache. However upgrading the stock interface is an easy solution, many third party companies sell better pads and straps. Battery out of the box is also a bit short lived, with full features (high brightness and face tracking/eye tracking) the headset really only lasts an hour and a half or so, trying to conserve battery you can get to around 2 hours. However I use this headset as a PC only headset 90% of the time, and partnered with a good link cable (not the official one, doesn't charge it fast enough while connected, kuject makes a high powered cable for the required 15v) it is decent

Was a little nervous about pulling the trigger on this guy as most of the youtube videos you see on it talk about how it's just okay and that it's not for gaming, it's for biasness. I couldn't disagree more. I used a Quest 2 with all the add-ons to make it decent, and this thing is MUCH more comfortable. Only complaint i've had so far is that even with the blinders added, there is a little too much light coming in from the nose area. But i'm sure someone will sell a cover for that as well at some point. If you're happy with your experience on the Quest 2, I would just stick with it. But if you're looking for a little more, and don't want to spend the same amount on the other VR headsets with the base stations, this one is a no brainer.

It is more comfortable, sharper and a slight wider in FOV but none of that is worth $1500 over the $399 Quest 2. And for that money, it doesn't even include a full blinder set for full immersion, no case included either. Also, why does a $1500 headset not have OLED screens at a minimum?? I returned.

This does everything my Quest 2 does better than my Quest 2 does it and it has a lot of features the Quest 2 lacks. It's still early days for the software and hardware, but both the Quest 1 and 2 received significant updates and refinements over the first year. The face and eye tracking are excellent. I have a supported tracked pass through keyboard (Logitech 375s) and it is very good. The hand tracking is nearly perfect. The pass-through color fidelity needs improvement. I have no regrets really. If you can afford it and you want the best experience available this headset is for you. I saw in another review a complaint about jagged edges and screen door effect. I would encourage that reviewer to send it back for an exchange because there is something wrong with their unit.

The screens are better to look at than the Quest 2 thanks to the new pancake lenses and the controllers are great. That is about all I can say that is good. I do not like the head strap at all. It only works on 2 points of pressure and because of the way it sits it tends to slide down my forehead causing me to tighten it even more leading to headaches. By not making the headset modular it is not possible to get 3rd party head straps for comfort. The very limited 1 1/3 to 2 hour battery life would not be a massive problem if the headset supported fast charging and allowed for battery packs to extend the charge like ever other mobile VR headset ever. The quality of the tracking and visuals are nice and the features are nice but due to some glaring flaws that should not exist I cannot recommend for $1,500.

I wanted this to blow me away. But it still is a bit under par for the price point. Quality is barely better then the Quest 2. The main thing that is better is the hand controls and head control. but it's still heavy and warm on the face. Passthrough is a total waste considering they distort the view making passthrough a pain. Plays games fine and is backwards compatible with Quest 2 applications but my biggest complaint is for the price point the screen is still very pixelated. This may be a hated review but this device is VERY expensive. I expected a little more.

The Meta Quest Pro is an amazing piece of hardware. Coming from the Oculus 2, I find that this product is far more comfortable and better, more premium, quality. The addition of cameras to the controllers are game changer with respect to pointing accuracy, which improves control. If. you want the best VR headset on the market, I would recommend this headset. In terms of cons, I would say I wish the resolution was a tab bit more clear, especially in Meta Workrooms (the work app that allows you to use multiple monitors). Coming from MacBooks and retina displays, the resolution is a little uncomfortable at first but I have gotten used to it. It's nice to be able to extend my MacBook Air to three monitors though without the need to take up all that desk space with a multi-monitor setup.
