Addictive gameplay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being a fan of Metal Gear Solid series, this was a must try game for me and after playing it for 40-60hrs, here is how I feel. *************************************PROS**************************************** - Amazing gameplay: This really impressed me. I was not sure how Metal Gear in open world would turn out but I guess never doubt Kojima. He knows what he is doing. Just amazing gameplay really enjoyed it. - Variety of weapons and tactics: What make this game really enjoyable is its wide range of weapons and tactics. Combine them you can come up with multiple ways to complete the same mission. Loved creatively using different weapons to overcome different challenges. - Buddy System: In addition to weapons, you have access to customizable buddy (horse, dog, quiet and D walker). Won’t spoil much here but loved all of them, especially the D-walker. Loved roaming in the open world with D-walker. Very comical and fun experience. - Some of the villains/bosses: Loved the design of some of the villains and bosses. Quiet, Man on fire and new metal gear were pretty neat. - Initial story: The story starts out very strong and promising. Really enjoyed the act I story. - Open world: Open world in Metal gear is not bad. I really liked African region as opposed to Afghanistan. - Replayability: This game has many similar looking missions with varying challenges. They are great to try out with your different weapons and buddies. All of them are replayable. *************************************CONS**************************************** -Incomplete story/rushed game: This was the most disappointing. When the act II started, I was very excited but then as I played through it and was disappointed to see that the story just leaves you high and dry (won’t spoil) *************************************CONCLUSION************************************* I really want to give this game 4 starts as its story ruined the overall experience but the gameplay is so amazing, I simply can’t. In most metal gears I have enjoyed story a lot more than gameplay, this is one metal gear where the gameplay is just mindblowing and better than its incomplete story.

Game freezes me playstation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is now working with my Ps4 and it is the only game I have that does this. It has got to be the game that is the problem. I bought it used (of course) and the disc looks perfect condition, however the game freezes my ps4. I have tried rebuilding the database, i have tried deleting the app and the data for the app and reinstalling it all and that hasn't worked, if anything that made it worse. The game always freezes and i haven't gotten any play time out of it...waste of money completely...not cool! I just assumed the disc was fine and hadn't played it until recently only to now find out i can't play

SSSSSNNNAAAAAKKKEEEE!!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to wait till after the released of Metal Gear Online to post my review. This game was highly anticipated since first announced at E3 back in 2013. If you are a Metal gear Fan then this is a MUST BUY; since it closes out the Big Boss story arc and it does not disappoint. The new FOX engine shows the true power of next-gen consoles and the Stealth game-play at its finest. The only drawback is that there are only 2 locations (Afghanistan and Africa). But there is plenty to do and the areas are large enough that it doesn't feel too repetitive. FOB is a great addition that adds more replay-ability and MGO is at its finest. I would give it 6 stars but I cant.

Superb. A Must Play.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is hands down game of the year material. Graphics are excellent, gameplay is unmatched. This game can be played by anyone, even those unfamiliar to the series. This open world adventure can be played anyway the player feels comfortable, from Stealth with non lethal weapons to full body armor with rocket launchers. There is so much more to it, being the leveling up motherbase, defending FOB from other players online, to a PVP multiplayer. For those who say it gets repetitive, check your time played if it's over 100 hours then the game did good by you.

Great game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this game as a gift for my boyfriend. He is a HUGE fan of MGS. He has a collection of games and items. I have watched him play and I must say the game is awesome. It's taken MGS to an open world where you can do so much more than just the missions. The story is intense and the graphics are insane. I have heard some guys at work talking about the game as well "I played for 5 hours straight the first night I bought it".

Perfect Ending to a Perfect Series
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kojima's departure from Konami brings a beautifully designed game that captures the essence of the series and delivers crazy results. As usual, the cutscenes are long and the missions are a bit more complicated than your average game. Be prepared for 60+ hours of main mission gameplay. Worth the time, considering it's the final chapter. The story is intense and a bit strange at times, but nonetheless exciting!

Hideo Kojima's last hurrah!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Metal Gear Solid V is a Masterpiece of a video game that interprets history in a quirky and fictional scenario that only the mind of Kojima can decipher. Its exactly that, a video game! It has modern graphics and story telling fused with great stealth and shooter mechanics. Its Metal Gear at its finest!!! If your a fan of the series you will surely enjoy ;)

One of the best games, best metal gear so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They added everything a fan would expect, and not real fans can play this game and enjoy it, it has evolved to a level that is now playable to everyone, not only fans, graphics are best ps4 so far, free roam is by map, there are different maps, like africa, afghanistan, the companion is very useful, there is nothing you won't use in this game maybe some upgrades, just take care of your money. Overall, great gameplay, good gadgets, cool story best graphics, best metal gear to me in terms of gameplay, but it can get a little repetitive but not too much to bother.

Greatest series!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hideo Kojima is a genius. If you haven't yet done so, play all the other Metal Gear games before tackling this beast. One of the best modern takes on military philosophy. Gameplay is fun, the story is epic and the real world relevance is remarkable.

The Last Hurrah
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been playing the Metal Gear games since the NES. If this is indeed the final Metal Gear game by Hideo Kojima, then he went out the way he wanted, with a bang! From the intro, which in a way trolls you thinking this might be another Raiden issue, to the final mission - It's very Kojimaesque. No other videogame creator like him except Miyamoto. What goes through his mind on a daily basis must be something magically. Salvador Dali said he didn't need drugs - He was a drug. In a way, so is Kojima. And all of us gamer's get that rush everytime we play a Hideo Kojima game. I really wanted my review to reflect on the director of the game. Because it's obvious the publisher doesn't think very highly of him. Yet, Metal Gear is souless without Kojima.
