This is one of the top PS4 games out right now, if not the best. The graphics are phenomenal and the control is tight; it plays better than any prior game in the series. The only issue right now is server issues. You may find it difficult to connect to the server for FOB battles. The full Metal Gear Online experience will not be available until next month as well.

This will most likely be the last proper Metal Gear Solid game, and what a game it is. You have so much freedom to approach mission however you want and to make the best of a situation you're in. Trying to be stealthy but end up getting spotted? No worries, just go loud and try to make it out of there alive. This is a wonderful last addition to a great series.

Great open world game where you can play the way you want to play.

Metal gear has always been my favorite stealth game of all times. Since the last time I played mgs4 on last gen console it was an amazing experience and adventure of mgs franchise. Once when I found out the announcement of mgs5 coming to new gen console I was blown away when I saw mgs5 gameplay. It looked amazing, and I highly recommend it to all game players.

Probably the best game that I have played this year. Scratch that the best game I have ever played to date! Sorry Batman you were great but MGSV has overcome all expectations. It is a must grab even if you are new to the Metal Gear Series this will want to make you pick up its predecessors. Kojima thank you so much this game was definitely worth the wait!!!

This game was amazing and it was more than I could have dreamed. I always hoped for an open-world shooter that let you stealth through most missions and customize tons of stuff; this game allowed me to do all of those things. It is my favorite installment to the series and definitely made up for the poor excuse of a game that Ground Zeros turned out to be.

The format is pretty different from other Metal Gear games, but the gameplay is just solid and a lot of fun. Really good variety and multiple ways to approach different missions. Outside of the beginning of the game which starts a little slow it much less cutscene-heavy than other games in the series, which is good because playing the game itself is a joy.

Cool story line intense action! And you get a dog as a companion!

I've played all the Metal Gears since the NES days. This is one of the best. It doesn't have the linear structured story like i was use to but now it is open world and you tackle missions however you like. That's not to say there is not story, but it's not grass fed to you this time. So far i've just cracked what i can do in the game and i'm only 20% in.

This is a great game. Very fun to play, and story is pretty good.

This is one of the best looking metal gears in the series thus far, and it has everything a stealth enthusiast like myself would want. The enemy AI is top notch and the weapons and buddy system work very well. Only complaint I have is the story lacks in comparison with the previous entries in the series, but overall I'm having a blast playing this game.

It has stunning graphics and an awesome story line a must have.

Are you seriously reading a review for an MgS game? Stop reading and go out and buy it already! Just kidding, I have it 4 stars out of 5 because maybe I didn't do my own research and know about how the gameplay differs from previous games. You have access to various missions as you progress with more of an open world sandbox for you to complete mission so and side missions etc. you call in resource so from your base via helicopter. Rather than giving you the necessary item s/weapons throughout the game you research them yourself. Overall a great game with just some functionality changes.

It was worth the wait! Its a cinematic experience, work of art! The motherbase portion of the game makes its so addictive, i have spent so much time by now just doing the side missions trying to get money, resources and the best units to make up my squad. Buddy system opens new doors on how to approach given situations and problems on the field.
