Snake is back in a bigger, badder adventure. The Phantom Pain has all the Tactical Espionage Action that you've come to expect and more. For the first time the game is set in a massive open world, allowing for more freedom in how you execute your missions. If you are a fan of the series or a first timer, I highly recommend.

epic....and seriously, it is the bestest and for some reason, i need to enter fifty words just to tell you how awesome this game is because best buy is making me do this to get 25 freaking points on my account. like seriously, this game is really good....how many words do i need to post that it is good? good good good good

BEST MGS SO FAR HAS AMAZING GRAPHICS AND OPEN WORLD

The intro alone assured me I made the right purchase with this. Ground zeroes was okay. But don't let that stop u from getting this because you can tell the difference with everything graphics sound and gameplay all top tier here. Movie quality thoughtout with a perfect plot I'm sure. I will take my time beating this game.

I have played all Metal Gear Solid games prior to this, and this one has hands down the best gameplay. The story hasn't been as engaging as previous entries yet, but I'm only about 6 hours in so far, so this can easily change. Despite this, I am so far loving this game and counting down until I can resume playing it again!

30 Hours in and I'm only 15% done. TONS of content!

Outstanding open world game with an amazing story.

I've spent a lot of time with games since the 80s and up thru today (perhaps too much). This has been the first game In a long time where my jaw was in the floor. The presentation, smooth gameplay and complexity is very inviting. It's a game that lets you take your time, or let's you go in guns blazing. So far, I love it!

This game accounts for all possible outcomes of a mission. Would recommend to anyone who wants a fun open world action game that won't grow stale.

I'm a new fan of the MGS series, I played MGS4 when it came out and did not enjoy it. stealth mechanics and combat felt very clunky. that being said, I highly enjoy MGS5. Creeping around is a ton of fun, and the 3rd person AND 1st person shooting controls are very good. worth buying just for the eye candy that is Quiet.

Best MGS game, since peacewalker. Great graphics. Great control. I love the base management & weapons development aspect of the game. There is just so much to do!! I have been playing for about a month and just now at ~50% complete. And now the online mode is available. I'm going to be playing this one for a long time.

The story line is awesome and the graph are crazy.

I have only played about 8 hours into the game so far, but the options for approaching your problems are very vast. You can recon your misisons, request air support, team support, and equipment resupply drops. This does not even cover the multiplayer element, or the building element with motherbase. Money well spent!

If you are a Metal Gear veteran you will probably love this game. I know I do. It's HUGE, it's diverse, it's complex and it is visually stunning. It's faults maybe in it's strengths though, as it's complexity can get a tad bit overwhelming at times. It does not, however, really detract from how good this game is.

I guess i can say im not surprised at the epic scale of this game having played the previous MGS games. But the graphics, gameplay and all the little gadgets and base building is so fun and really lets you immerse into the world. Controls are still a bit, eh. But its a MGS game so you kind of are used to it by now.

Holy $h*t!! The level of detail within the gameplay of Phantom Pain is absolutelt ridiculous! When in for a tactical extraction mission. Was seen by the enemy. Got zipped-in. Called for air support. 20 sexonds later chopper arrives with hellfire missles blazing. Cleared the zone. Made my exit. It was awesome!!!

I have been playing the Metal Gear games for years. This game has everything fans have come to love about the series, from challenging stealth missions to Hideo Kojima's gripping and at times bizzare narrative style. The gameplay is fun and accessible even to those who have not played the previous games. 10/10.

I wasn't even planning on buying this game at all, but I read IGN and Gamespot regularly and both sites gave it a 10/10! So I had to get it and check it out myself. Couldn't be happier. This game lets you do pretty much anything you want and then lets you build your own private militia from scratch. I love it!

Used my new Gamers Club Unlocked membership to pick up the latest Metal Gear Solid. One of my all time favorite game franchises. Graphics are incredible. Cinematic. The story and gameplay is great. Every decision you make and every action you take has purpose, making it a very immersive and intuitive game.
