  • Poor quality - Failed Fuse Holder

    Installed the wiring kit and my amp would not turn on. Thought there might be an issue with power from the head unit to the amp over the blue remote wire, but the multimeter showed power. Didn’t want to remove all the wires I ran through my car, so I took it to Car Toys to trouble shoot. Turns out the fuse holder was bad. To be clear, it wasn’t a blown fuse. The entire fuse holder was faulty and prevented power from passing through the connector. Car Toys cut it out and reinstalled a new fuse holders (leaving Best Buy wires in place) and everything fired right up. Terrible quality control of product sold by Best Buy caused hours of headaches. Will not purchase this brand again.

    Purchased this product to install an amp on my bike and spent the entire weekend trying to figure out why amp was not working. Finally I decided to take the 10 gauge wire out and have it tested only to find out that power was going into the fuse weld and not coming out the other side..... $40.00 and countless hours later I wound up having to purchase another wiring set from the Snellville store that actually worked.

    Bought one and lost power, figured out the wire at fuse holder was corroded and pulled out. Exchanged for a new one and the same thing was wrong. I would recommmend the high quality.
