This item looked like would work well with the deck I purchased, but it did not fit my 06 Ford Explorer. This was fitted for my truck by the Best Buy associate helping me.

According to the product labeling I needed this adapter to mount a Panasonic Radio in my '95 T-Bird; I did not. I was able to return it with not problems. If you want to know whether your vehicle will need this I recommend removing your factory radio first. If your antenna connector wire is a "female" type this will be necessary. If it is "male" going into the radio it is not needed.
