    This antanna adaptar is needed For My New Pioneer radio. So yes I do recommend this new adaptar be replaced when you buy the new pioneer radio, which includes, DVD, Cd and back up camera.

    This is a great product of you are adding an aftermarket radio. Plug and play, everything works as it should. If you have a F150, make sure it's the right adapter for your truck, I was told that there are 7 different antennas that ford uses.
