I bought this item as a package which included a new radio for my 2005 Silverado. It has the features I wanted like multiple inputs so I can listen to audio books on long trips and a way to charge my cell phone without a specific car charger. I also enjoy the hands free cell phone use I get now. What I don't like (but it is getting better now that I am able to get some practice with the radio) is how the buttons are so sensitive. I will retrieve my sunglasses from the slot underneath the radio face and accidentally hit a button changing the station or I will not hold the source button long enough and the radio will change source instead of turning off. Worse of all, if I touch the volume control wrong the radio will go into setup mode instead of adjusting the volume. All in all I am happy with the package, the radio and the installation.

Used by the best buy installation technician to install a new system. System works great and allows fitting of 3rd party system to be installed in the vehicle. Rather expensive for this type of item, though. I'm sure that if I installed the system, I'd use the adapter instead of splicing various wires.

Was'nt happy about the price, but to get a new stereo to work like orginal factory unit you have to have this adaptor kit. And it does work good just like the original, chimes and acc, and opening the door turns off the unit. If it was'nt so expensive woud have give it a 5 star.

this was the exact piece i need to maintain the chimes and everything for my self install for a radio. it was a little more pricey than what i was expecting but def exact fit and easy to install.

Kept the factory chimes singing, easy to install, used This in two different gm vehicles now.

Bought it when I was putting in my new stereo. Need it to connect my amps. It still lets my trucks chimes and noises come thru.

It was all there and easy to follow instructions. Also was easy to install into my vehicle.

The product is great for keeping your warning chimes the price is a bit high but overall great product

THis works perfectly with my 2005 GMC Canyon crew cab truck. A little pricey, but it works :-)

The multiple wiring harnesses are great and made the connection to the new radio a snap. Everything is color coded so it's user friendly to install. You have to purchase this item when converting over from the factory radio to aftermarket since the chime warning feature originally was built into the old radio.

terrific radio Pioneer AVH 2550NEX and the installer was very professional and tied up all ends perfectly . Took time to explsin everything completely I am more than satisfied . This is why I deal at Best Buy. Thanks for job well done Johnny,

I bought this for my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado LT 4.8L I highly recommen this for your truck. Don't be cheap bc this is worth having. Keep: Door chime (working) Keep: Check engine (working) Easy to install radio
