Don’t expect Best Buy to sell you on this. Works for vehicles that have no special goodies. Only enables door and blinker chime

I was a little upset that I would have to buy the more expensive wiring kit for my truck just so I can keep the annoying beeps and bells my truck makes. Luckily this kit isn't real loud and didn't make the sounds worse than the factory.

Added significant cost to total stereo purchase. Plugs did not match up correctly, trouble with self-installation. Needed to return to have Best Buy techs do installation, which they did quickly and efficiently for a reasonable price.

When I bought a new stereo, I was required to purchase this to maintain the warning chimes, and my On Star. As I said it's required, sad it cost more then the stereo.

When you have a new radio installed in husbands 2006 GMC Canyon, you have to have the equipment to make it work. Just wish they could package everything together. It's all good though.

Works great except it will cause the default chimes to go off. When I turned my truck off. Ding ding ding, when I did this and that ding ding ding. I cut the speaker cable and fixed that. Works fine now. lol

This harness is exactly what I needed to connect my custom stereo system with pristine sound and enjoyment. Best Buy geek squad did an excellent job with advising the perfect product.

For how it fits and works it deserves more than one star. However at $99.99 this is highway robbery! When you get this to the shop the first thing you'll notice is that you've bought TWO wire harnesses! Upon reading the chart in the manual, you'll quickly learn which one you need and which one you'll immediately throw in the garbage! So that's $50.00 wasted. Once you get past that, you'll see that you're still going to have to splice the wires into the harness that came with the radio you want to install. But hey, there's 4-factory installed RCA audio jacks on the harness! Nice. Reading further, you may discover that you'll have to CUT THEM OFF in order to splice them into the wires that come out of the radio. So that's easily another $10.00 wasted. Lastly, the picture of this product in this listing shows two small black connectors and one large grey one. The single black one that comes with this harness connects to the black mystery box you see in the picture. What the picture should show is two large grey connectors. It's the grey connector that connects to the car harness . . . only one of which you'll use. The other is a complete waste and will just go in a landfill someplace.

This is another necessary little piece to keep my factory ignition chime working the same through my new Pioneer the way it does through the factory stereo.

The mobile installer recommended it and installed it with my new car stereo.

all my chimes were busted in the truck. its a good thing that i checked online while in the store. i bought four of them with the price match.
