It works for its purpose. The kit comes with a hole buncha parts. Most won't be needed.

This adapter kit is badly constructed, fits together very badly, and doesn't fit the radio I bought very well. I have an older truck that needed the extended faceplate adapter, and it is still not long enough to fully fit the radio into the dash.

The plastic was too soft and broke when snapping the pieces into place. Also I couldn't get it to fit properly to my dashboard because the bolts stick out too much. I found that the only ways to fit it was to reverse the bolts but you have to make the bolt holes a little larger. Or you have to cut out holes on your dashboard to allow the 2 nuts to properly fit thru.
