    I bought this because my original deck was factory and taller than the JVC I bought to replace this. This piece allows a narrow shelf below just enough for your phone.

    Provided a clean/professional looked to the radio I installed in my truck. One thing I had to do was take the cage off the radio to be able to install radio into bracket.

    The harness works great in my 2002 Ford Ranger. The only thing that I didn't like were the instructions. For the Ford models, they instructions said to cut off the four screw mounts, which I did. After doing so, half the mount went in but I could get the other half in. After 15 mins I realized I didn't remove the complete screw mount on two of the mounts, the instructions didn't show this. I would compare the instructions to those from IKEA.
