This is nice to keep everything up as 'normal' the controls on both head and feet doesn't work properly.

Was somewhat hesitant about rearranging my dashboard, but love this much better than the original factory arrangement. Controls are easier and nicer to use.

Like other reviewers, this is the only choice you have if you are wanting to replace the indash navigation system with a better radio. The radio and installation is great. But this unit is very disappointing. If you have it on 'auto' for example and it's freezing outside when you get in the car the thing will come on full blast. So you constantly have to adjust it (I never had that problem before). Once it gets up to temperature (I'm talking about heat since it's winter) it feels like the a/c switches on. So it's either blowing warm or blowing cold. And you can't use the 'recycle' button on the auto setting. Just too many things that are really disappointing in this unit. I love the radio and that I can have bluetooth now but it's a bad tradeoff. So, pick your poison.

Unfortunately, there is only one manufacturer of this type of product, and it is barely passable. The controls are very basic; I miss the rotary controls on the factory dash, as the buttons on this one are crude. Most importantly, though, is that the temperature fluctuates wildly, depending on what vent mode you choose. It seems that if you adjust the temperature just one degree either warmer or colder, it changes drastically, and that should not be; it should be a slight, gradual difference in temperature. If it wasn't for my disdain of commercial radio I would go back to the factory radio/climate controls in a second, but as it stands, I have no choice but to go with this Metra dash kit. Disappointing.

Unit would not work, metra tech support found defect working with local install company, install company installed another product, metra would not take unit back, I am out hundreds :(. Buy from a reputable company
