The Volvo aftermarket market is always frustrating because it is practically non existent so you're forced to get whatever is available and this is one of those products. This kit is cheap and low quality for a high quality vehicle. I paired it with a Sony XAV-AX100 receiver, the first gripe is the dimensions don't quite match up with the head unit, there's a small gap at the bottom, which is understandable, it's meant to be universal. Another gripe...the appearance, it is not the right finish or color. OEM is sort of a rubberized matte black look and this kit is grey with little metallic flakes and makes it look tacky. There is also a gap between the face plate and the HVAC control unit when mounted. And ohhoh...not to mention the flimsy PLASTIC!!!! mounting brackets...smh, who's idea was that. It's unfortunate the market for Volvo is an extreme minority because you're stuck with this. It's a bare minimum kit and I just wish there was a better one out there.

This trim kit looks great in our 2006 Volvo XC90. If you install a single DIN stereo, the added shelf/pocket is a very convenient location to place your phone while driving and charging.

The install was very easy without any complications. I did it myself. The finish looked very professional like a factory install.

The unit came warped so it doesn't exactly fit correctly and the tech told me that this was very common, so I just decided to keep it.

Was worried how my new Bluetooth stereo would look once it was installed. Looks great with this kit.
