I ended up not using it because the on in my 2006 dodge sprinter was able to work with the new deck. since I had already opened it I did not try to return it. doesn't appear to have a way to lock into the dash either. I think if you were in a different vehicle you would mount the back of the deck and that would hols it in. not in my van though.
