    This was recommended by the BestBuy technician who did the install for my Pioneer FH-X730BS head unit. He choose silver and it is perfect match for my dashboard and the big old knob on the X730BS. I don't see any space around the head unit. It is a perfect fit!

    I am not the one who had to use it. I had Best Buy install it. But it fits around the stereo i bought fine. Looks seem less. Fits the vehicle well. I bought the Pioneer 6.2" touch screen.
