a whole lot of plastic

The moment you get even the slightest amount of resistance when putting the screws in, you should STOP. Don't force the screws any further. It doesn't have that additional bracket to attach the mount to a stereo either, so keep the original brackets you got from your vehicle and reuse it.

Expensive but needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually had to purchase this unit in order for the clock radio/I-pod unit to work on the clock radio, if I wanted to use my i-pod. Very pricey small piece to purchase and had no choice. But all in all it makes the I-pod work.
