The camera is really good for its price. Works well at night also. Didn’t expect this quality when I purchased it but m very satisfied with it.

It is the only backup camera that have had. It was not difficult to install. The picture is clear for a backup camera. The car stereo already had optional backup lines, so we did not want backup lines in the camera. There were instructions on how to remove the backup lines from the camera and it was easy. I installed the camera about a month ago. So far I have had no issues with it.

This is a very good camera in my opinion. Clear picture, wide angle of view, and a very easy install. The mounting on the license plate is secure and seems to stay put well.

What a great idea to keep the older car and install a new enhancement. I have a 2012 Camry and fortunately there was a compatible camera. The camera takes some getting used to, but it works well and I am learning to trust it. I still park crooked though. The installer did a fabulous job and I have had no issues.

I got the camera to add to my new pioneer stereo. When they pulled the camera off the shelf it wasn't the one on display and they didn't have the display model in the store. I was a bit concerned because it does look cheap. but the installer said he had installed a few and people were happy with them. So, I had it installed. During the day the camera is bright and crisp with good detail. During the night the picture quality is a bit poor. But, its a lot better than not having one. Especially with my truck where its hard to see small items due to the height of the truck. Overall I am happy with the camera. I will admit that I am concerned about how easy it might be for someone to steal it.

The back up camera is clear image, great price. Overall better than the factory one.

Everything on the camera works as it should, very simpke

The camera quality itself is fine, the one problem I have is this is certainly geared more towards small cars. I drive a 2012 Ford Escape, and it does not point down enough to actually see my rear bumper or how close I am to objects at the rear of my car.

I’ve purchased 2 of these for 2 vehicles and they work great. Install has been seamless on both and a few years later with no issues. It always works and couldn’t be happier with them.

Works great. Best Buy installed it on our F150, and it works great. One added feature we didn't expect was that the radio volume turns way down when the camera is on, to reduce that possible distraction. This is a good feature.

Installation isn't too bad however what threw me off is that the wiring has your black and red wires, then it has another red wire by the RGA plug. So for a little bit, I was not able to get the camera working. I called Metra tech support and they explained to me that the red wire by the RCA plug is to attach to the reverse light's wire. I still don't understand why they wired two positive wires when you can take the original one and hook it up to the back up light's positive wire. So I hooked both positive wires to the back up light's positive, and negative to the negative, and the camera works great. I really love the design where the frame goes behind the license tag. Now the state name is not covered up since Georgia puts their state name on the top of the license plates.

My friend recommended i install a backup camera after i blind-bought a truck that had an extended cab with a long bed ( i told myself i would never buy a truck again with a long bed and yet here i was, anywho...). Luckily, my stereo had backup camera compatibility and needed the actually camera. The instructions were a bit hard to follow, but after testing it, i was able to figure out what needed to be connected. Wish it came with connections so i don't have to cut wires. The video comes clean, but seems disproportionate? Hard to explain. It might be the location were it is installed, but because my licenses plate in located lower, its hard to tell if im about to hit something. Might be the radio though, but i suspect its the location. Wish this could have an option to install on the tailgate handle (I know, it says license plate on the title).

This is a very basic back up camera. I purchased it because it is what a Best Buy employee recommended. I wish I would have researched it myself because this is just too basic. It's too late now as my husband has installed it on our daughters vehicle, but it does not alert if you are too close to something. If you are looking for basic and budget friendly this is for you. For us this was a bust and it is not getting used.

needed a camera to see how close I was to another vehicle when parking on the street being in a truck this is great!

Installed on a 2011 Subaru Forester. Great picture quality. Seamless integration. Cable has ample length. Don't be afraid to bend the bent sheet metal tab mounting the camera down to get a better angle.

Loving the camera. EZ install, picture quality is pretty too. Like that there's an option to add or not use the backup lines. Can use them from the camera or your car receiver. Much needed item because its getting harder for me to see backing up. Now I won't backup into anything. :)
