This backup camera gives a very sharp and clear picture, even at night. I would definitely recommend it.

Had this camera installed with a new receiver. The picture is sharp and the field of view is decently wide. Lens is reasonably fog resistant and picture stays pretty clear in weather. Overall the picture from this backup camera is better than the OEM camera in my Hyundai. Great for squeezing into tight city spots or garages.

The camera looks pretty good during the day, bit.it's grainy at night. Installation was very easy and user friendly. Wish the picture was a bit more crisp but it's still great overall and would purchase again.

The camera is pretty well hidden but sometimes is in the way when I open the rear door latch. Great quality picture and priced pretty well. Required no drilling into rear door, which was nice as well.

I used this backup camera with my new Pioneer radio. It went in without any issues. I have grand-kids now, so I wanted a backup camera on my car for their safety. This camera produces a clear image on my new radio. I like the license plate mount since it does not require drilling screw holes in my car.

It was a 'this is the only option' purchase and wished I would have done more research. When I purchased my Kenwood DDX470 the Best Buy Associate said this is the only one we carry, which isn't the whole truth. That may have been the only one they had in stock at the time but I search the inventory online and the store in shop at does carry others. Regardless, the set up was fairly simple but the instructions were horrible. You definitely need to know about positive and negative currents to understand how to change the view of the camera. The picture quality is okay but horrible at night to the point of almost useless. I only discovered this after I spent a couple hours installing it.

Great little camera and gets the job done. It really makes a difference and is so helpful when backing. I would recommend this little camera to anyone. I've read so many reviews on different cameras that it was confusing. I took the recommendation of our geek squad installer and he steered me right. Highly recommend it.

It's a good back up camera. I with it had the lines to direct the vehicle when backing in but that could be the head unit. When it's dark it is quite fuzzy but for backing up it works fine.

The backup camera is nice to have. I installed this on a used car I bought. It is clear adn bright but the lines/cones are not set right. That does not mean too much, I will just use my own judgement.

purchased this camera specifically for my Sequoia due to wanting to use license plate mount but had to not block access to the liftgate latch. Using this camera allowed me to offset the camera very slightly to the right and due to its narrow attachment to the mounting bracket, still get at least 3 fingers on the latch. It was very easy to aim the camera where I wanted it, my only concern is that it may not tolerate brush type automatic car washes without bending the attachment point, Picture is good night and day for my purposes, I did not have to cut the loop to reverse the image and I did leave the back up lines functional. Mated to Pioneer headunit display with no difficulties.

This is a much better back-up camera then I was expecting. It's not the best out there, but for <$100, it actually looks pretty good. It's a little tough at night when there's lights aimed at the camera. Even at night in general, it's more fuzzy than in the day, but still usable at night. Installing this (nature of the beast) is quite difficult, not this camera in particular however. Making sure you line up a wire from the rear outside of the car to the (relatively) insulated inside of the car, with drilling minimal holes and ensuring the wires remain out of site was a difficult task. If you spend the time to do it right, you'll be happier with the final result in the long run. Plus it'll add to the longevity.

This is a quality backup camera and it does have grid lines on screen ! Will be very helpful when I hookup to my boat trailer when going fishing ! Use to be pain in butt before ! Now backup straight to hitch without have to get in and out of truck to line up ball !

I wasn't planning on adding this when best buy installed my radio, but my installer suggested it and it's perfect. i have a 2015 Wrangler and the camera sites just below the light on the license plate. you can barely tell it's there and the quality is perfect. good night vision and resistant to weather. so far so good

Works great! My old camry is a reliable car but without the upgrades of the newer models, I decided to upgrade it myself and it this little camera has been so helpful when backing up. I did try a different camera but the back up angle was too high and I couldn't see the curve, good thing I had the geek squad annual service so they switched to this one without further charges.

Absolutely love it! I've looked at a few different license plate mounted backup cameras and I found this one is probably your best choice. This one is very inconspicuous and doesn't get in the way of anything at all when mounted on a pickup truck or an SUV or an automobile from what I've experienced, it's a pretty good unit and would therefore recommend this product!
