good field of view EXCEPT......

You cannot see the hitch ball/receiver or coupler when you get close. Vertical field -near vision very lacking in performance. disappointed my other vehicles back up cam (factory) is much, much better. For $1000(camera and radio) I expected more

Decent camera - wiring is meh?

Installation was a bit rough as it has super thin wiring wrapped in fairly thick insulation. Splicers didn't work well and had to resort to soldering. Instructions are confusing. Nowhere in the instructions does it tell ;you about the additional red wire next to the video plug (it's for sending a reverse signal to your head unit). It doesn't show it on the diagram either. Fortunately I got it worked out. Just a little bit less skimp on the wiring and better instructions and I would have probably given it a 4. Picture is ok. I haven't had it long so we will see. Overall, I'd recommend spend a bit more and get a better unit like the Pioneer.
