These make a huge difference if your still into the old school house stereo systems but wanna use new age speakers!!!

As another review said it did cut the voltage ergo the signal and volume decreased. But a few adjustments and that was equalized.. Sorry for the bad audio pun. But overall solid construction, it does the job and doesn't seem to have any more loss in sound quality than higher priced branded products! I would purchase again.
