    You end up with a harness on both ends - after matching and attaching the wires using the included diagram. You need this part (get from installation crew). Each wire is clearly identified on one end, then color coded on the other. I spliced with a twist and covered using shrink tube. The wire in this harness is thicker than factory. I can't imagine doing this any other way.

    Metra radio wire harness for selected ford cars is necessary to wire in new receiver to dash and at a great price 16.99 it does a good job and great instalation with this wire harness
